I'd laugh, cos it sounds like the sort of thing she'd do. Then I'd cry. Then I'd probably laugh again just thinking about. And then I'd find out why she exploded. Cos that would just be weird.

Tell everyone that I'm not going to be the one to clean that mess up. Explosions are messy business, you know? Oh, and if you all insist, I suppose that somewhere along the way I might be mildly upset that my friend exploded. Especially if the blood stains don't come out of the carpet.
Can my friend spontaneously combust instead? It's so much tidier than an explosion.

If my best friend exploded?
hmmm... I would call an expert in random exploding people syndrome or, since there is no such expert, I'd become one myself analysing why my friend exploded to make sure that no more people would suddenly explode at random.
Then I'd start a world wide frenzy on the news about the potential for people to randomly explode and make top dollar being the only expert on such things. 3nodding
