Nightmare listened to Yarshe's story intently and leaned forewards when she asked about his story, and he spoke softy and clam.

"well I can only tell you a so much so here it goes;
As you know me and Chey are only half related, im the oldest. My dad was and our mother a dark elf.
Chey's father killed mine so swore to get revenge.
I killed my mother thinking that she was Chey."

Nightmare went quiet as he said this as a small tear rolled down his cheek.
He remained quiet for a few moments before sighing and continuing.

"And then it hit me that Chey was my sister, All those years and I never knew. Her father went blind with rage and placed a curse upon Chey. I dont quite understand the curse fully but I'm trying to figure it out.
I killed her father, which naturally only completed the curse.
Chey only 18 went crazy as she saw me kill him, Thus a war started between the heavens and hells.
Both of us aren't for Gaia either, our home planet was destroyed aeons ago from the war.
She lost most of her memory and i lost the beauty my wings once held.
As time went on so did life, we came to Gaia she didn't know me to well, but i gave my body in sacrifice to her so she could master the arts of necromancy.
She could only return the favour by sealing my spirit into her dead wolf's body.
And when you first met me I had only just striked a bargin with Diablos for my old body back.

I'm sorry but I can not fill in the gaps about Chey, she has to tell you them if you want to her the full story."

With that he pushed away from the table and stood up.

A forced smile came across his mouth as he nodded and started to walk towards the exit.
As he walked he seemed a bit light for telling someone else about half his story.
He walked towards the wharf and waited patiently for Yarshe.

Nightmare looked at Yarshe blushing and started to laugh. He patted her head and walked over to a ship and looked for its captine, Seeing him nightmare bowed slightly to show respect and started to speak.
"Excuse me sea Captine, me and my friend were after a vessel to get us to the Dessert continent and we were wondering whether or not you'd be able to sail us? We'd pay of course."

Without hesitation Nightmare climbed aboard and walked towards the stern, where he leant on the railing and closed his eyes feeling the ship drawing anchor.

Nightmare waited a while before replying, only the soft lapping of the ocean waves crashing on the ships sides.
"Yes, i guess it is pretty. Just think what the horizon would look like at dusk."
Nightmare smiled softly into the distance and started laughing.
"I only just realised there is not much ocean between the two ports, almost flying distance. We should arrive there soon hopefully."

Katrea opened his eyes to see the men on the boat unloading things and then a man with a box in his arms said to Katrea as he past by.

"You better get off or you will end up back at the desert continent."

The man then walked off the boat with the box. Time went fast it seemed as Katrea stepped on the boat. He looked around to Ikki and walked off the boat to wait for him.

"Think I will head to the Castle, that seems like a good place to start training and getting stronger to face my fate.”

"materia, iv heard of that item before, it lets you use magic even if your not a mage. but its an item, so they can be broken and so on.....is that right."

katrea started to do some stretches and exercises to get his body ready to head out. But still he thought about it.

"i remember getting a kaji from a friend once, it let me use one spell once but materia is more powerful and rare....

Katrea stopped himself from talking there, although he remembered that happening to him he couldn’t remember when, why and who said it. it was just like he knew it happened but couldn’t recall it. He started to feel down when he throught about it and it could be seen.

"ok lets go, if we head north now we can make camp at nightfall"

katrea walked off with deep thoughts missing in his head. It was misty as always here but people walked all over the docks with things to do. Katrea headed out through the town.

Katrea then saw the end of the town and stopped to speak to Ikki.

"Is there anything you want from this town before we head out. its going to be hard with all the monsters in mist so if you want to buy anything go do that now. You have a bit left from that job, right?"

Katrea then pointed up at a big wooden archway that showed the town exit.

"I am going to see if I can't get some items before heading out. Meet me back here in about two hours"

Katrea then walked off into the town looking about as he did so.
