Kalian noticed her little head shake, but merely smiled to himself. 'I wonder if she is beginning to get just a little interested...' He raised his head higher to look over carts and other horses that were wandering the camp. Try as he could, he had yet to see any horse of even the slightest golden color. "Does she have anywhere in particular that she likes to disappear to?"

Nura thought but couldn't think of any. "no. she usually stays close, rarely leaving my sight unless i have told her to..." She became worried again as they neared the edge of the camp and still no sign of her. "dear god i hope nothing has happened to her..." she looked at Kalian. "I'm sorry, this must be bothersome....But...I really appriciate what your doing..."

Kalian snorted. "I might have the reputation of a tough guy, but I'm a sucker when it comes to foals. This is not a problem--especially when it lets me spend time with the filly's pretty mother." He teased. "And I am sure nothing has happened, she probably just saw another foal and went to play."

Nura looked away, emmbarresed at being called pretty, not used to being called that unless by the humans of the camp. "I hope your right Kalian...I don't know what i'd do if i lost another foal..." she said sadly, mind flashing back to her first foal, the only foal she herself had birthed, and the first foal she had lost.

Kalian picked up on the sorrow coloring her voice. "I'm sorry if I brought up bad memories..." He stepped a bit closer and gently nudged her shoulder with his nose. Seeing a flash of gold out of the color of his eye, he quickly turned his head, but was unable to see where the flash came from. "I think I saw something golden over this way..." He said, turning towards it.

"It...its alright. You did nothing, Kalian, just my memory acting up again." she said lightly. She looked towards the way he had turned. "Sagira?" she called lightly. "Sagira is that you?" She steped forward.
A little golden foal, small in size but not un healthly so, trotted out, eyes scanning, from a tent behind the two adult horses. She would have gone un noticed had she not triped over an empty box. "ah!" she let out a startled yelp and she fell, sprawling out on the desert sand.

Kalian spun on his heels, ears pricked forward. Letting out a little chuckle, he looked over at Nura. "I take it this is the little one we've been looking for?"

"Sagira!" Nura rushed forward and nuzzled the filly as she stood and hide behind the sandy mare. Nura smiled at Kalian. "yes, this is my daughter. Sagira, say hello to Kalian." she nudged the foal.
Sagira looked out and blinked. "h-hello."

Kalian bowed his head to Sagira. "Hello, Sagira, your mother was telling me all about you. You are a very pretty filly, you know that?" He smiled, trying to seem non-threatening to the little foal. "Just as pretty as your mama."

Sagire blushed at the little compliment. she didn't think she was anywhere near as pretty as Nura. "t-thank you." she said.
Nura tried to hide the slight blush she had at the indirect compliment.

"You are quite welcome. Now, how about we all go down to the oasis and spend the afternoon in the shade? I think that's it's only going to get hotter out here as the day progresses." Kalian flicked himself with his tail and cocked his head questioningly. "I for one could use a swim."

Sagira blinked. "you mean like a little vacation?" she asked. She stared at Kalian and then at her mom before looking back at the stallion. "are you my new daddy?" she asked innocently.
Nura's eyes widdened slightly and she turned an impressive shade of red.

Kalian blinked once, then again as a light blush stained his cheeks as well. "That, little one, is entirely up to your mother." He grinned up at Nura as he bent down closer to Sagira. "And yes, we should take a little vacation, shouldn't we? Go spend the whole day playing around."

Nura went to speak but closed her mouth not knowing what to say. She looked away, face still a cherry red, heart beating faster then any hummingbird could ever get.
Sagira smiled. "yay! i wanna go on a vacation!" she said. she scooted closer to Kalian and whispered to him while his head was still low, "do you love my mommy?"

Kalian's blush deepened a bit as he nodded to Sagira. "But shh..that's our little secret for right now, ok?" He whispered. He nudged the foal toward her mother and started for the oasis. "Let's go, day's a-wasting!
