You might like A Blurred Line. I did. I really liked the story and the replay value of the game.
I will try and find the Dreamscape game and if I do I will put the link here. As for your custom battle engine for RPG Maker 2000 or RPG Maker 2003 I can't really help you. The only thing that I can suggest is downloading games that have a custom batlle engine and test them and see how they work in your RPG Maker 2000 or RPG Maker 2003 program.
That would be awsome if you made a castlevania game with the guild members as the main cast. What are you going to make it for?

I was suggesting to meowmistress she could make a manga out of the guild members, but since you mention it in the game, I was thinking, hmmmm. That would be cool. Making a manga and a game with the guild members would be awsome. I would help with the game if it's being made for RPG Maker 2000 or RPG Maker 2003 but since I still have a little trouble with the switches and variables it would be hard.
But if you need any resources or music or anything then I can help with that. I know plenty of websites.

Ehehe, I know my art isn't as good as meow's but right now I'm honing my art skills as sharply as possible. Will work on a manga soon enough.

Oh my! I started working on my game sorta. I'm still making the characters. (Which I'm not going to tell you who's in it yet!) It's a lot of hard work! I'm taking the original CV tile sets and pasting them on RPG Maker tile sets. . . It'll be really cool when it's done. btw, my game will resemble Castlevania a lot but with the limited software, it has an RPG twist. (With the battles. . .) So I hope everbody will be okay with that. ^_^;;
Thank you, Elixias for complimenting my art. I'm sure you're style and talent are great! As for me, I'll eventually try doing a manga just to try out my Manga Studio software. ^_^
Can't wait to see everybody's projects!

I should start working on a game. I will ask my brother if he can help me with the switches and variables. He used to use Rm2k and Rm2k3 so he knows alot. He now uses GameMaker so he should be able to help me.

@Meowmistress: It was in general, game or manga wise. Hehe. Don't mind the RPG battles (cause it's quite limited to that unless you know how to use variables and switches very well).
@KuroKenichi: Sounds great. =]
I'm borrowing quite a lot of books and working on my art every night. So hopefully there's something new comign along.

Wow, school started for all of you? Mine just ended, but we still have to go back (to school) during vacation (8 to 5) to do project work crying Talk about unfairness.

^_^ My project might take a while! I'm putting a lot of work into it though! It isn't exactly high quality CV looking and it might be a little pixally but it really does look good!
