*Mouse yawned heavily. His single-mindedness managed to get the best of him earlier today and now he was starting to spin down off of the high. He was beat and emotionally drained. And now that he thought about it, he hadn't eaten either. His stomach lurched in response to his rhetorical thought. First thing was first, nourishment and then some rest. The moon was still high in the sky and it wasn't as if the ruins were going anywhere. He failed to obtain some source of light in the mean time as well so searching the place in the dark of the night was quite useless. Absentmindedly Mouse removed the last of his rations from his rucksack and began gnawing on it. It wasn't soon after that he'd drifted off into slumber.*

*Sunlight peeked over the nearest mountain top illuminating the ruins and awakening Mouse. All in all, it had been a quiet night resting on the stairs of the temple, but now that he could see clearly once more, it was time to start digging up some answers. He approached the connecting building to the main portion of the temple.*

~At least I don't have to look elsewhere... the problem is I'll have to look all over in here.~
*Cubby case upon cubby case lined the walls and stood in rows all throughout the building. Within each cubby were multiple scroll cases, each tied off with a frayed piece of rope. He sighed, realizing that this could take a while.*

*After many days of traveling Solase finally arrived at the ruins and could feel the ancient power that still dwelt there providing protection.*how could this place lay in ruins if even in ruins it hold so much power? *he thought to himself.*
*He walked around taking in the sights even in ruins it was a beautiful place and he wondered at what it looked like in its prime. it seemed as if he was alone.*

*Solase waited for a reply but didnt expect one. He found a nice flat chunk of stone that had been part of a tower or pillar. He crossed his legs and started to meditate on what to do next. As he began meditating the surrounding area got a good couple shades darker.*

*Mouse was a little startled by the sudden voice. He hadn't expected anyone else to be around, nor did he note that he was followed. Poking his head out of the entry to the Hall of Records (He noted the the name stamped across every scroll case.), it didn't take long to note where the voice came from. His eye followed the man's movements as the man hopped onto a severed pillar and grew very still.*
~It would seem that this guy's harmless enough. After all, he announced his presense and he doesn't seem to be hostile toward anything in particular... But wait! What's that aura that's gathering around him? Another aura black as night... This doesn't make sense... He doesn't make sense. If he heads this way I'll figure what to do then, otherwise I've got a lot more reading to get through.~
*Mouse carefully and quietly slipped back into the Hall of Records, sighing to himself heavily. He'd barely gotten through one shelf as of yet.*

*Solase stopped meditating as he sensed another presence, one of some power as far as he could tell. He didnt know where they were but he would find them. It was dark now and this was where he shined.. He silently crept up next to a wall and shaped the shadows around him shrouding himself in darkness and crept around from shadow to shadow.*
come on show yourself *he thought to himself.*
*he came up to a ruined building where he could see a small light comming from maybe a candle as he creaped in he sat back in the darkest corner watching a man shuffle threw the books. obviously this was once a piece of a great library books were scattered everywhere. the man looked harmless but solase never underestimated anyone not even a child.*
"Who are you?" *he said*

Volgraza awoke from his meditation at the sudden shift to darkness. he narrowed his eyes looking for the one resposible. he streteched his wings then burst into light shineing as bright as the sun relighting the area back up. he could see a shadow slip into a building so jumped into the air and hoverd over the it wating to see if anything would come out.

*Solase held the darkness up in his corner. He could take light but not blinding light like that. he hadnt sensed this other presence but it didnt matter if need be he could excape with ease*

seeing no one leave he retruns back to his secret place to meditate. the light retruns to normal as he focuses on consealing his power.

*Mouse continued rifling through the archives for the majority of the day. Many crumbled to pieces when being handled out of sheer old age. Others were covered in symbols and characters that Mouse couldn't quite place, though a number of them seemed familiar somehow. The few that he did manage to understand were inventory records of food and supplies for the temple many ages ago.
At one point later in the evening, Mouse swore he heard a voice from somewhere nearby, which was quickly followed by a burst of light from outside. Fearing an attack, he quickly moved to stand beside the entryway, pressed up against the wall. Clutching his crook in both hands, he waited for whatever was outside to enter. After a few moments of silence passed and the light died back down, he figured that it must have been something passing by and returned to his research.*

*Solase was getting tired of chasing after shadows and found the most open area he could find and layed out his things. Then he sat down on the ground and crossed his legs prepairing to meditate. If someone was here they were bound to find him.*

*Standing in the broken temple gate way, memories flashed through her mind, the darkness ominouos. Wrapping the heavy cloak around her shoulders tighter she gripped her staff and walked forward slowly* Why did it have to be a temple... Of all the places for a haven why a temple? *shudders as she enters, standing anxiously in the doorway* Hello? Is there someone there? Anybody? Maybe this was a bad idea, I should go before something bad happens
