I'm not really a fan of it. I like the fantasy and the idea behind the story, just not how it was made. Kinda doesn't make sense 'cause the one thing I did like about it was the animation, but still. xd

Reiyuka, i know you say it doesn't make sense, but that's the point. "Alice in Wonderland" is really supposed to be incomprehensible and full of nonsense. all you have to do is to enjoy the many briefs episodes (like the one with the mad hatter, for instance). it really helps if you read "alice in wonderland" and "alice through the looking glass" first, so you can better appreciate the film. i find the former book more exciting, though. most of the film is based on the 1st book (of course).

Yeah, I know it's not supposed to make sense, but I wasn't talking about that. I meant that I really liked the animation and stuff, like the drawing style. But I didn't like the way the story was pictured. Don't know why, but meh. whee

matea i heard the actress that did alice's voice also did wendy's (from peter pan). Yuppers. This is true. Um, random thought: wasn't Lewis Caroll supposedly high on something when he wrote these stories?

Mm, my absolute favourite Disney movie. It's so trippy, and I love the scene where the caterpillar smokes the hookah. whee
And Cheshire cat simply rocks! heart

Yaay! I love this movie! I wish they'd had more of what's in the books in the movie, (The pig and the pepper!) but meh. What'cha gonna do?
My favorite scene is the Mad Tea Party.
"I shall elucidate! Now statistics do Prove that you've One birthday! Just one birthday every year. But there are three-hundred and sixty-four unbirthdays! A special time to pass along the cheer!
A very merry unbirthday to you! To you! A very merry unbirthday to you! To you! Now, blow the candles out, my dear, and make your wish come true. A very merry unbirthday to you....!"

I somehow won the videos Dumbo and Alice in Wonderland during a trip to Disneyland when I was little. Happy and proud over my prize, I watched Alice in Wonderland religiously as a child. When they released the DVD version a few months ago, I bought it and when I saw it again, I was amazed I still knew practically every single line.
Tweedledum and Tweedledee are my favorite characters from the movie. (I even managed to take a picture with them two at Disneyland! whee ) Granted, they are pretty annoying, but in a highly amusing way.

Well, I have my doubts. Perhaps Mister Carroll was simply creative. People have read things that I've written and thought that I'd been on drugs at the time, though I had been completely clean and clear.
