I thought goth was post-metal-techno? xp bah you make things so difficult... just because something is based off of one thing doesnt mean it has to be like it, take me for example, i am nothing like my mom and dad, nothing we are the exact opposites, the moon it comes from the earth yet hmm the only similarty it has is its shape and some same minerals, jsut because its born from something doesnt mean it has to sond like it and yes ******** goth does sound techno and the style from which goths get they're appearence, punk and metal but more based around metal, so punk did have a hand in it but i dont like to include punk in with stuipd whiny 1 decable away from emo bull s**t

hmm...very very interesting argument really... but old punk and goth do go hand in hand, any true knower of music should know that and I am a lover of BOTH genres. Flake makes really good points as usual

bringing this thread back to The Clash theme:
have any of you guys ever noticed how they randomly use very bad spanish in their songs?? and it's weird because 1: they're british and you would think they wouldn't even attempt to speak spanish and 2: they have no apparent reason to use it in their songs sweatdrop (except in Spanish Bombs, there it's understandable)

Mad_Hatter_Emily bringing this thread back to The Clash theme: have any of you guys ever noticed how they randomly use very bad spanish in their songs?? and it's weird because 1: they're british and you would think they wouldn't even attempt to speak spanish and 2: they have no apparent reason to use it in their songs sweatdrop (except in Spanish Bombs, there it's understandable) I couldn't believe they were even attempting Spanish when I first heard Should I Stay or Should I Go. It somewhat scared me. And confused me, considering that they were the first UK band I listened to that attempted to use Spanish in their music.
