[Audio Penguin] In my school anythign like GSA wouldn't even be approved. Being gay is NOT okay there. I usted to get herassed all the time when peopel found out I had a girlfrined. I even had trash thrown at me.. I wish we had a large enough group of people to do something like that. Would you like me to come smash some heads? 3nodding

I remember my time back in High School, er- I was in private school we had a GSA. Had like a lot of Bi's, Les, and Gays. Half of which were straights- they were very generous to us. ^^; I missed those days.
Eh- I actually had a phone call last night, thinking about it lately. My friend, she's in High School- senior of course. Her best friend, Jacob, and also herself wanted to combine a club. Which is the GSA, but in the handbook it says they have to get approval from the Administrators. Well anyways my friend asked around school if students were to like to learn and understand this GSA. About 76% of students wanted to learn about the GSA. Funny thing was that, even the Principal stood next to her, as a supporter. ^-^ Very supportive. Well after marching to the administrator and having an approval "permission granted".
First the admin said, no.
Second the admin said, no.
Third-- one of the admin walked out to her car.. group of crowded students stood outside the administrator building yelling out and cheering for my friend and her best friend. The admin basically ran back in and call out. Basically both of the two seniors stood about, all students cheered for them. One student walked up and put up a sign, "Gay is not wrong! I am Gay! I'm proud of who I am!" Then another and another, but wow it was amazing.
Yeah-- the admin granted to having the GSA at their high school.
And now they have calculated 1,427 students have enrolled into the GSA at their highschool. 2 seniors, one Bi and the other Gay. They've register to the gsanetwork, and their sponsor is their very own principal.
They have a total of 2 staff members at the moment which is the president and the vice president/ or the captain and the vice captain. ninja cool

We had GSA at my highschool but i never got to join because i was in a group home and we wernt alwoed to join any groups and the such.

J-poid Mikeru "this school's lucky they can even start having a club like this" What the hell is THAT supposed to mean? That bitches head is gonna roll *dresses up in all tight black clothes and runs around gathering Sam-Fisheresque people to hunt her down* Anyways... I don't think my school has one. I live in a small, mostly christian town, and Gay is an accepted insult...

Ohhh.......If anything is hated (on the side of the cross) more, it's direct confrontation with bible thumpers. I'm just about ready to screw with several church ladies because they've erked me for so many years. burning_eyes

My school has a GSA, it took a lot of work but we finally have one. And to make things even better, me and one of my best friends are the presidents of it! Woot woot! smile
