After the crowd moved on, Maria went to a stand and ordered some grilled fish. She dug in happily and finished it off quickly. She sat for a moment and started talking with the shopkeeper.

Owen sat at teh same shop that Maria was and ordered the chicken and waited for it to come.

The shopkeeper started on Owen's order and Maria stretched and yawed. Training had taken a lot out of her today.

Owen saw Maria sitting next to him, he began to try and think of what to say. he spun around in his chair resting his back on the counter of the small food shack, looked at her for a second and broke the silence, "You a local round here?" He asked

Maria looked at him and shook her head.
"No. I live back in the States." she said.

"Same here." Owen replied as his food arrived and began to eat slowly, he liked to enjoy his food while he ate.

"Yea, this is my first big touniment." Owen said finishing off his meal. "Hope I do good, gotta make a good impression." he said taking a sip of his soda.

She picked up her drink and got up and left.

Maria stopped and looked back with a smirk on her face.
"No one ever said that confidence was a bad thing." she said.

"Good answer." Owen said finishing off his drink and slingin his bag on his shoulder again. "Well looks like time will tell." he stated putting his shades back on.
