It's well thought out, but a lot of that is speculation and opinion XD I could see Kamui with a puppy crush, but I think Subaru is wayyyy too emotionally stunted. He doesn't show any more emotion to Kamui than he did to his sister, and no one on Earth would call them lovers. XD I still think it's more of a fanservice than anything. Kamui had a girl he liked, remember? So it's also possible that he might not even be gay. (le gasp!) Plus, Clamp has this parallel going on with Seishiro-Subaru and Fumma-Kamui. We can't exactly pull Fuumy out of the picture now...XD Oh, and there's a point that Subaru did make a kekkai over Kamui.....but that was in the ANIME, where (SPOILER) Kamui dies, so that kind of makes the point moot.... Damn...XD I still can't find that CLAMP interview with the sisters thing. O.O I'm still searching. But I do know that CLAMP stated that the boys's relationship was more like "sisters", which kind of states that it shouldn't actually be taken as a lover-relationship.  I got the article about subaru and kamui together from a website entirely made for S/K fans hee hee. I wanted to share this cool website for the fans of the couple its called Bittersweet. Subaru and Kamui are two characters from the manga/anime series X. They are both Ten no Ryu (Dragons of Heaven) or Seals, who are supposed to fight the Chi no Ryu (Dragons of Earth) or Angels in order to save humanity from destruction.
Sumeragi Subaru, age 25. Aside from being a Seal, he's the leader of the Sumeragi Clan, a family of onmyouji who work for the japanese government. His past story is tragic, as he lost his parents when he was born and his sister when he was just 16 years old. Apparently, his only wish is to avenge her death.
Shirou Kamui is a high school student, chosen by destiny to be the 'kamui' who will decide the fate of humans and Earth. Like Subaru, Kamui also has a tragic story behind his destiny. He never knew his father and his mother sacrificed herself to save the Earth. When Kamui made his choice, his best friend was forced to fill the opposite place.
Why Subaru and Kamui ? Well, the two of them share a very special relationship. It all started when Kamui hid inside his own heart to escape from the pain of seeing his loved ones dead. ]Subaru went inside his heart and made him rejoin reality, soothing the boy's wounds.
It is obvious that since this day Kamui has developed a crush on his older friend. And it is also obvious that Subaru cares from him.
In the latest developments we can see how Subaru is of extreme importance in the boy's heart, though we yet have to see how important Kamui really is to Subaru.
Still, Subaru and Kamui belong together because of both's traumatic pasts. Maybe together, they might finally find the peace they crave for.It IS a fan article though. So mostly I'd say its a difference of how you interprete it. XD It's not like CLAMP's gonna go out and say anything solid... because they are bitchesvery mysterious.

lol, this is an interesting discussion. mystical_elfgirl12, you really brought out some convincing points about the S/K pairing. I agree with Aerine Lillet, though. So far there isn't much concrete proof for their relationship. Though some of the aforementioned scenes suggest that Subaru and Kamui share a deeper relationship than friends or brothers, I don't think that CLAMP intends them to develop a serious one. I mean, after all, there's still Fuuma and Seishirou. In my opinion, CLAMP's just doing this to add some spice into the series by making a love triangle/square out of the prettiest guys.
But anyways...
X characters Tsubasa-fied!? I must do some catch-up reading on the manga XD

Endless-Labyrinth lol, this is an interesting discussion. mystical_elfgirl12, you really brought out some convincing points about the S/K pairing. I agree with Aerine Lillet, though. So far there isn't much concrete proof for their relationship. Though some of the aforementioned scenes suggest that Subaru and Kamui share a deeper relationship than friends or brothers, I don't think that CLAMP intends them to develop a serious one. lol, true. They do make a cute couple XD I'm a bit skeptical as to whether CLAMP intends them to be an official couple, but that's not to say that I don't like them razz

I mean, I dont mind the pairing, but I don't think its canon, or ever going TO be...XD To me, fandom makes anything possible.... (Except stuff thats just....well..ARPG.)

I mean, even if I had the same opinion as the CLAMP, it doesn't mean that I agree with everything they said about the X characters' relationship. Afterall, we have our own choice of which characters will be the couple together.

Afterall, we have our own choice of which characters will be the couple together. It's not opinion, its what the canon is at the moment! gonk It's THEIR characters. Their "opinion" is the rule XD I mean, we can choose to pair them up as noncanon, but it doesn't mean we have the choice to pair up whoever we want and make it so XD I mean, its basically the same with the most popular couples in YNM fandom....

XD Just not as Subaru's twin. (Though I honestly wonder how exactly CLAMP is going to handle the fact that they LOOK EXACTLY ALIKE.) Anyway, Seishiro and Fuma are BROTHERS. XD Wow.

Hi everyone it's me moonlight_shadow12. I would like to say that I feel that if clamp where to do so I feel that Subaru/Kamui could work out as a couple. All they need at the moment is comfort and love and support. And I feel they give it to each other in their own way. If they were to share a kiss together I bet it would be very beautiful and sincere too.

All they need at the moment is comfort and love and support. And I feel they give it to each other in their own way. If they were to share a kiss together I bet it would be very beautiful and sincere too. In their own world, maybe.........
