"I'm so sorry." Dekko said, his ears drooping slightly. He didn't like sad things. Hate them, in fact. He shook his head. "Well, Sheva's going to have a baby too. We're all its parents, really, but they said I could only be godfather."
Sheva shook her head. "He offered to be Godfather." She said with a grin.

"Well the child is very lucky to have good parents such as yourselves." Hero said her mood lightening up a bit. "And of corse there can be more than one parent. two can be the flesh and one or more can be the essance or spirit parent." She nodded and bit into a plump shrimp. "It's been done before."

Dekko nodded thoughtfully. "Uh huh. They... or rather, Sheva, thinks that having three parents would confuse the kid. So I was shoved onto the roll of godfather. Although, just as well, because if Karyon were godfather, the kid would be terrified. This way, at least he'll be connected through family ties."
"So noble." Sheva said with a mischievous grin, voice riddled with sarcasm.

"It wouldn't be that confusing." Hero replied. "But if that is the way you want it, then so be it. There's nothing wrong with it." She then turned to look at the Werewolf. "He would protect the child none the less. Werewolves are not as savage as one might think. They're culture is very similar to that of ordinary wolves. They just act differently during a full moon."

"Well, really, he's just as kill-happy even if it's not a full moon. But I'm sure he'd protect the child with anything he's got." Sheva said, looking over at the black werewolf confidently. She knew him well enough to be able to say that.
Karyon stared at the food set before Sheva, eyes wide.
Dekko chuckled at the werewolf, nudging him with his muzzle. "Elbows off the table." He said to Karyon, who had almost laid himself flat across the tail to reach Sheva's plate.

"That's how most of them are for a few years. But then they calm down and begin to worry about social issues." Hero giggled. "It's rather difficult process at first but then they understand and it's settled. But I bet Karyon isn't like the others." Her eyes gleamed and all of a sudden a fleshy bone appeared infront of Karyon.

"Ah, you bet he isn't. He can't talk, like most other werewolves, but he's been one for quite a few years. Besides, he never turns to anything else." Dekko said, looking over at Karyon as he caught sight of the bone and almost immediately began to drool all over the table.
"Oh, for godsake, just eat it!" Sheva near screeched as drool landed near her food. She grimaced as he grabbed the bone with a joyful snarl and disappeared under the table to devour it.

Hero nodded gently as she nibbled on a peice of lobster tail. She listened to their conversations for a while. "Have you decided on any names?" She asked after a while.

Sheva shook her head. "Well, I certainly like Sparruh for a guy, but somebody here doesn't." She said, rolling her eyes over at Dekko, whose face was a picture of indignance.
"She turned down Lissabethe for a girl!" He pointed out, ever the first to make sure he wasn't blamed.
"Lissabethe isn't even a name, is it?" She challenged.
Dekko knew enough to know when to shut up. "Well, Sparruh isn't one either." He muttered sulkily.

"Reeeeally?" Dekko's ears flickered forward at teh mention of unicorns. "See, Shev, mine was a name!" He said with a grin and a flick of his tail.
"Well, I supposed Sparruh's back on the table." She said, twitching her nose challengingly at the pegasus.
"Oh, alright!" Dekko said with a sigh. Never been the biggest fan of the name, but if he could keep Lissabethe on the table, Sparruh would have to stay.

"Finally we're at an agreement." She said softly. "I don't like to see friends argue over something as silly as a name. I'm still deciding on a name for my child."

Sheva smiled. "Thanks." She said. "What are some you've been thinking about, though?" She was always curious as to what others were going to name their children.
Dekko shrugged. "Eh, we argue all the time." He said with a grin. "But we always forget about the arguments the next day. Or at least, I do."

"I've always liked the names Molly and Amalthea for girl names. For boy names I was thinking either Halo or Michael..." Hero said thoughtfully. "But that would depend on the child."

"Halo..." Sheva mused. "It's a fine name." She said, nodding with a smile. "I know what you mean. We say we want these names for the kid, but we have no idea what it'll look like. I've always kept them nameless till the day they were born."
