smile In the version used by the American Ballet Theatre, Odette commits suicide by throwing herself into the lake, and Seigfried follows; their love destroys Rothbart, or however that worked. >_>; But the two end up together in the afterlife...
Then there's the one where Seigfried
doesn't get the girl, and a whole lot of other versions. But as far as I know, the only reason he danced with Odile was because he thought she was the original swan he danced with at the lake. Mistaken identity, nothing else.
As far as the last episode goes, I loved it... until the very end. I hate semi-unresolved tragic endings. I mean, as far-fetched as that town is, a love relationship with a duck is stretching it a bit, Fakir. 9_9
