evilfaerie13 anyone here been to a Cannibal Corpse concert in a while? i just went ot one when they toured with Trivium and Gwar...
better question: anyone even like or heard of Cannibal Corpse? How can you ask, of course I like Cannibal Corpse, I own every single one of their CDs, if you don't know much about them, check out worm infested. Oh, and by the way, I envy you for seeing gwar, (the almighty beefcake hates you)

Ky Calibur Marius` In my opinion Cannibal Corpse is one of the worst metal bands out there, hands down. Their vocalist can't sing (if you can call it that) for s**t, and the instrumentals are only mediocre. That and the lyrics are of course completely idiotic. course im probably going to get s**t for this but im going to have to agree with this guy. im not a fan of cannibal corpse either and judging from what my bro saw at ozzfest(im pretty sure it was ozzfest) they werent to good live either. i think he said system of the down had more stage presence, same with black label society. but they probably did better then dragonforce who apparently just stood there >.> anyway, i kinda like one of their songs though "I Will Be Heard" i think its called EDIT: nevermind, that song belonged to hatebreed. <.< wow i guess i just dont like cannibal corpse much. ah well no big deal all that matters is whether or not you personally like their music. EDIT: now that i think about it, i think the band my bro saw at ozzfest was actually hatebreed. <.< i guess ozzy doesnt like cannibal corpse much either >.> Who told you that dragon force just stood there. They are one of the most active onstage bands of all time. Not to mention my absolute favorite out of the power metal category, rhapsody and edguy included.

Umm yeah that was sounds of the underground...they sucked at the show..I have seen them better before..but still I loved it..and Behemoth. They were the only thing worthwile at that gay tour. Trivium, Between the burried and me ((or burry your dead)), Terror, as I lay dieing, and all that other s**t was all hardcore and sucked. and Im seeing Cannibal with Dying fetus, and Necrophagist in november. I cant wait

Bwah, I only just got into Cannibal Corpse recently (but I've been into Atheist for ages.... I'm learning death metal backwards 3nodding ), but they sound pretty cool to me. Very typical style of playing, but that said they *have* been around for ages. Hopefully, people will see them as a gateway band, and through them learn about more obscure dm bands like Psycroptic or Spawn of Possession.
I've only really bought Tomb of the Mutilated (HAMMER SMASHED FACE!!!), and downloaded some of their other stuff, but on the strength of that I'm actually going to be seeing them when they tour oz this October. Go me! 3nodding

THRILL SEEKER Dr. Psycho They're okay, I don't particuarly enjoy grindcore. i don't really seem them as grindcore, they're more like grindcore/death metal to me. i was about to say Cryptopsy is more like grindcore, but they're really just grindcore/death metal too... i don't Cannibal Corpse's old material-- most of it has a really low quality recording. but i LOVE their album "Kill", i don't have it, but from what i've heard it's amazing. Well, I changed my mind I listen to them now.

I think that they are ok. Although, the vocals sound like the singer is yelling into his hand.

They have good lyrics. depends on how you look at it... if you're looking for depth and meaning, then Cannibal Corpse can't write for s**t. if you're looking for straight up brutality and ******** hatred, then they're lyrical geniouses. i like both, but deep and meaningful lyrics more. i guess, when i'm really hyper or really pissed off, i'd agree a little more 3nodding

i duinno the lyrics are deep to me (but hten again if you go by what thrill says that makes me a complete serial killer but meh) i guess its just a choice then on how u view the lyrics... (sorry if that is confusing i am overly tired righ now)
