Mehina Zerr0 I'm not sure, but I remember signing a HUGE online petition to bring back the show... (oh, and ty izfreek for signing meh petition! mrgreen ) I remember signing that, too! eek Could it have actually done something?

Zim won't be coming back. EVER. Jhonen said he would never return to Zim, and the chances would be improved by perhaps 0.00000001 per cent if he got full licencing on the series. Almost everybody significant that worked on Zim have already said (many of them in popular ZIM forums) that they wouldn't return for anything in the Universe.
Signing the petition won't do a thing to change their minds. The fate of Zim lies in the hands of those who care enough to get off their rear ends and DO something about it...
...Like ANIMATING the series themselves.
That's right. The only hope for Zim rests in the hands of the Invader Zim Fan-Animated Series, or IZFAS. I'm sure all of you have heard about this elite team of animators, voice actors and production crew that are merely fans like us. But they did something about their obsession, and are always looking for new talent. Visit the Buzzyworld site for Invader Zim; there you will find a link to the Official IZFAS Forums.
Zim won't ever come back to the telly, but with Youtube and the DVDs, we can keep the Irken Dream alive...
