Div - Adoption is a crummy choice, So lets fix it!!! Try to remember, I'm pro choice (all options) meaning that if a choice is faulty, I want it fixed, because an option isn't an option if its fundementally not working. Abortion happens to be a choice, with some fundemental working problems, but not the one we are working on currently.

Its not liek we can't work on both. Considering that she's Pro-Choice, she isn't going to be interested in "fixing," aka removing, abortion. So adoption would be the only one of the two that both of us can work on. Dur. Also, just because this thread is about fixing adoption doesn't mean that adoption is the only thing that needs to be fixed. But there is no reason to be arguing about abortion here, because the topic of this thread is specificaly adoption.

So back onto trying to fix the problem of Abortion!
We have some good suggestions, and To be honest, there seems to be more ideas and interest here then in the PCG ^^; This is good, though. It means we can move onto things like "Ok what kinds of policy need to be touched on to fix such things?"

Wow, knew the adoption process was thourough (several of my friends are adopted) but I wasn't aware it was that inclusive. I guess they do all that to make sure the child is raised in a comfortable enviroment. But if the adoptitive parents want to give a home to a child in need I don't see why an ethnicity would matter (I can sort of see religon, as arguments could get heated) but ethnicity doesn't seem like a big deal to me.
