(And I'm sure I did something wrong with this sentence but I'm not sure what sweatdrop .) it really isn't your fault ... and no there were no corrections to be made in your sentence . people tend to use a lot more slang than they think. it's ... eww! stressed

Ellen, you're funny~~ but really, how is it impolite to correct people with their spelling and grammar. you're teaching them how to speak properly ... ugh, people these days ......... we're all useless when it comes to English. domokun

I thought it was: kinda wish I AM a fob right now.... jkub thought it was: kinda wish I WERE a fob right now.... **shrug** They all sound like they would work, but there are rules to follow with that.... heart , Ellen

Once or twice is alright, but I think its rude to constantly do so. Especially when you have been asked to stop. There comes a point when its like telling someone they are completely stupid...

There comes a point when its like telling someone they are completely stupid... yeah, sorry, it's kinda like playing trivial pursuit or something and the asker saying it's easy, then you don't get it, that makes me wanna strangle people and thanks, jason, i really was curious, i see why were is wrong, but why not "am" instead of "was," or would it just make more sense to say "had been," or something like that???

'had been' and 'was' are pretty much the same thing ... I think it's more formal or proper if said 'had been' ... *shrug* ask teh Jeicen...
