I would like to cosplay as one of Yu's characters, but the problem is that her characters change outfits a lot, so it would be difficult unless you were doing a school uniform. And if i did cosplay i would want to be someone from ayashi no ceres, and their outfits are deferently different almost every page. sweatdrop

Last year at Otakon, I cosplayed as Chiriko... got a lot of attention, even wound up being pulled aside and video recorded for a scavenger hunt (one of the items on the list: underappreciated character).

AshHaiDragon i might i have a group that would do a cosplay but as what and then theres the money thing but i think it woud be fun i havent seen any of YU's charaters here in FL that money thing...*sigh* i see ads for second hand outfits but i would never wear something like that

i would maybe cosplay as...maybe shuro or something i have dark hair so y not keep it simple ^ ^ ~! i did other cosplays though i did tenten from naruto last year.

Hmmm there's an Anime Convention coming up and i'm running out of time and i don't know what to Cosplay as.....My friends and I were going to cosplay as japanese school girls from all of Yu Watase's books but we don't have much time but as much as we want to try half of us are broke and if i wanted enough money i'd have to work today for another 3 weeks xd sweatdrop

IF we even get them done lol but we'll take a lotta pics...OMG last year there was this guy ((yes this is not about Yu Watase but)) omg he dressed as Vash and it was amazing! he looked exactly like him and i wanted to take pics buti didn't have my digital so i couldn't so i have LEARNED from my mistakes and i WILL buy a digital whether my 'rents say No or not. I have to try not to slack off if i want to get the uniform but still if i can't find one and if i can't get one done in time we're all going to wear Kimono's but i dunno from what show or series that can be from. But i'll take pics anyway biggrin

how would you rate from the easiest to make to the hardest:
miaka's priestess robes, alice's inner heart uniform, and aya's school uniform in tokyo when she first moved to yuhi's school (ok, the one on the cover of the first manga in the US xp ) i always wanted to make alice's costume but i never had the time to pick out stuff and put it all together sweatdrop

Hotaru-hime Aya, Alice, Miaka. Easiest to hardest. Actually... depending on which Miaka costume you do it varies in difficulty. Miaka's school uniform is simple, as are some of the clothes she wears during the manga/anime series. Now if you do like an artbook outfit then you're going up in difficulty. In my opinion Takiko Okuda is the harder of any of Watase's main females. She's not only wearing Meiji Era clothing, but she's in the world of the Universe of the Four Gods. I'm going to be attempting an outfit she wears while traveling in search of the rest of the Genbu Seishi, I don't have the picture of it on me, but I will eventually. It's a Chinese-style outfit that's simple yet elaborate. Alice would probably be next in the complication if you try her Lotus Warrior outfits. Suspending belts aren't easy. Tanpopo and Aya would be easiest seeing as they only wear normal clothes. Appare Jipangu's leading female is also pretty easy, even though it's historical clothing it's fairly simple compared to what she could've been wearing.

She was talking about Miaka's pristess robes. sweatdrop I'm not stupid I could tell that thank you, but her main robe for the series isn't that difficult o_O I mean... I've seen much worse. I still say, Takiko has the most complicated outfits of all the priestesses... we really haven't seen her robes as a priestess but the closest thing we've had is this Sooo... yea, Miaka, IMO is fairly simple.
