Yor was speachless from laughter. After they had bothed calmed down a little Yor was able to say, "So, you're a girl after my own heart! Not like those stupid people back at my village, no one will even go near me anymore for fear of having a prank pulled on them." Yor was saddened by this though. "I never mean to hurt anybody. I've had plenty of pranks pulled on me, but I still think it's hilarious. I don't see why people don't like them..." Yor's voice trailed off into silence.

Chicken-Lori, wiping a bit of honey off her chin, smiled.
I never did mind a little fun!
She did a leap into the air and spread her arms like they were wings then landed in front of the girl. She bowed gracefully then looked up.
The name's Lori, by the way, traveling jester extrodinaire!
She then jumped back into the lake, cleaning off the honey and feathers... but leaving a trail of feathers in the water. Looking back she then scooped up as much as possible and put them on land. Don't wanna ruin the lake ya know! she thought happily to herself. She then sat but a tree near the other girl.
I think everybody needs a little laughter now and again... Everybody's so tence nowadays....

"Exactly! That's what I always say! Name's Yor, by the way. Not anything special, just Yor." she held out her hand for the other girl to shake, glad she had finally found someone who understood her pranks.

Lori smiled and stood quickly, her hat somewhat sulking in the process. She lifted her hand to shake Yor’s, but as she did a searing pain racked through her whole body, from her feet up to her head. Falling to her knees she closed her eyes, tears rolling down her cheeks, begging for the pain to go away. A scream escaped Lori’s mouth, without her even realizing it.
When the pain her stopped, it was to Lori’s embarrassment that she had ended up in the fetal position, her hands covering her head, and she had been screaming bloody murder. She stood up whipping the tears from her eyes then fled climbing up a nearby tree.
Wh- what happened to me?!

Yor watched, bewildered, as the girl fell to the ground, obviously in terrible pain. Just as she reached down to try and comfort the girl, she jumped up and climbed a tree, out of sight. Yor was baffled, and she had been getting along so well with the girl too. Yor sighed. Everyone left her eventually.

Lori looked at her hands, they were covered in sweat, and she knew her whole body was, too. It’s happening again…! She wiped it off quickly then swung down so she was hanging upside down on the branch. She smiled happily, though half-heartedly, at Yor.
Well that was a start, but I’m okay now…
She swung down completely and held out her hand in apology, the other hand holding the tail the desperatly wanted to hide.

"Well, I'm glad." said Yor, shaking Lori's hand, "I thought you had run away on me for a minute." Yor saw that Lori was hiding something behind her back and thought that a perfect practical joke had just presented itself. Yor sidled along while making idle chitchat to distract Lori then suddly lunged in the middle of "Weather's fi...." She grabbed for whatever it was Lori wanted to hide.

Lori yelped in surprise as Yor yanked her tail. She jumped and scampered behind the tree, her newly grown monkey tail trailing behind. Tafalori... you're an idiot! What ever gave you the idea to be around people again?! Lori cursed herself for her curse.But then she thought, she just left Yor hanging there, for the second time. Her tail wrapped around her waist and pulled at it, hoping it would just come off and go away, but that's not how it works. So she sighed and went back to Yor tail and all.
Let's start over. Hi, I'm Tafalori, Lori for short, and this is my random tail. One of two things can happen: It will go away or I will change completely into a monkey for a short period of time.

"That's awesome!" said Yor, and she really meant it. "I wish I could turn into a monkey, It would be easier to climb up into the trees to set up the honey."

No it's not!
Shouted Lori, and meant it. Her tail waved back and forth, almost maliciously if it weren't so cute. The curse bound her to the Fair Owner, but now that I'm away, it should be over... But obviously it wasn't, probably because all she did was run away. She cursed herself again… but maybe… Lori’s face changed for hurt to hopeful.
Maybe you’re right… maybe this could be good… no leashes or cages… it could be… fun!
She smiled at Yor, but then another spasm of pain hit and she fell to the ground again, a high pitch screech escaping her lips. fur covered her as her whole body became smaller... Then it was all over, the pain subsided and two green eyes stared up at Yor from a small silver haired monkey, drapped in human clothes way to big for her.

Yor stared down at Yori, "Wow, you really did turn into a monkey. Awesome! can you still talk?"

Now here was Lori’s predicament: as a monkey, she was truly a monkey, no speech, no higher though processes. The silver haired monkey looked up at Yor, trying to figure out these sounds that the tall one emitted. But then she thought “friend” but no others things could be processed, and with that Lori’s green eyes showed the bliss of ignorance. The monkey then climbed on Yor’s back and proceeded to pull her hair slightly, making monkey sounds in delight.

"I guess that's a no." said Yor, pulling Lori off her head. "What do I have for a monkey to eat?" Yor rummaged through her bag until she produced a bag of peanuts. "Want some peanuts?" She asked, offering the bag to Lori.

Lori took the bag happily, then climbed onto Yor's shoulder again tugging at the bag to get it open. The the monkey just gave up on pulling, she started to bite at it until the bag sprayed all over the floor, and conveniently, all over Lori and Yor. The little monkey laughed and jumped down, picking up the remains of the bag and eating them.
Just then, Lori froze. Next was the pain- all over again. She screeched horribly and beat the ground, then grabbed her clothes and climbed up the tree once more.

Yor picked the remnants of the bag off herself while thinking of what she could do for an even more elaborate practical joke. She hoped Lori would show up again, they were getting along rather well. Sure she turned into a monkey, but that's nothing to hold against a person... or animal.
