I probably wouldn't mind too much, but lately I haven't had a lot of straight time to do much of anything, so I'll get around to it when I can. Maybe I can convince some of my friends to watch it with me on Tuesday since it's my birthday. ninja
EDIT: I just realize that I forgot to note that this is actually the first album Miyavi's released where he didn't have a DLQ cover on it. eek XD I dunno, hearing those covers are just kind of interesting because you get to see his take on it.

Although I don't have time for intense analyzing or anything, MYV POPS was great listening to for me now since I'm alone in a new town where I'm gonna go to a really cool school for fashion and textile design. I'm really excited, but I got really emo, especially since I haven't got anyplace to stay yet... but I'll fix that today. anyway, it's love for Myv. heart

I had Marching Camp all last week and my section got mad at me for singing the half the tracks non-stop. (It was fun dodging drum sticks! xd ). It's just so addictive and my Grandpa is angry at me for popping the CD into the Car Player when ever we go out somewhere.

Haha, I'm kind of glad I don't go around in cars, because I know I'd annoy everyone with the amount of VK I would put on. And then blast it up, and make the passers by hear me. "Listen to my music!" xd
I'm a bit insane.

XD I don't have a car, so I just burn mp3 CDs and put them in my CD player that plays mp3s. Then I usually take it with me when I walk places. ＭＹＶ☆ＰＯＰＳ been a welcome part of my journeys lately too. heart

myv pops was definitely a very happy-go-lucky type of album. i think that this really defines what type of person he is, he's truly being the real him, you get me? all the visual kei stuff was just a phase...but then again this is my opinion.
"we love you ~sekai wa kimi o aishiteru~" i have to say is one of my fav. songs on the album. i dont really understand what's being said, but the music is amazing, especially the bongos <3
"peace sign" is great, its actually where i got my gaia name from. haa i was listening to the song and was like "hey ill use that as my name".
rate this album? i say a 8 out of 10. the albums great, but its mostly a compilation of his old songs plus three news ones. it's still a great CD. touche miyavi-kun, touche heart

Even with this album, Miyavi's never stopped being visual kei. Visual kei is more a fashion and a look. It doesn't define the type of music being played. Psycho le Cemu was even more a "pop rock" type of band that cosplayed and they were still considered VK. A lot of other bands are also more "pop based" but are also considered "visual" because of their appearance. VK even has a lot of subgenres even within the "look" which makes it tough to define, but for sure Miyavi has *NEVER* stopped being visual. He still calls himself that on his websites and he still shows up in Shoxx and FOOL'S MATE magazines and such. His music may change and he may have specific looks based on whatever he's releasing, but the fact at all that there *IS* even an emphasis *on* his looks and what outfit or what have you he's wearing is partly what keeps him consistently visual.

I love this album though i wish Miyavi would have kep't his name the same in place of calling himself MYV. Miyavi is a beautiful name and should remain the same.
This album isn't my favirote but Dear My Friend remains my favirote song of Miyavi. Not to mention you cannot beat the guitar.. My god the guitar.

Miyavi never really "changed" his name to MYV. It's kind of referred to as a "change", but it isn't really a change. It's more like one of many puns/alternate spellings that he uses.

Oh.. good. That makes me feel much better, MYV just isn't as beautiful as the Japanese luxury name "Miyavi."
