Your favorite Japanese band/artist: Miyavi! (durr, lol) Some others are gazette, an cafe, depapepe, the pillows, dir en grey, l'arc~en~ciel, psycho le cemu and koda kumi.

Your favorite Miyavi song/PV and why: Ahh this is a tough one. ninja Well let's see, my favorite songs/PV are:

Itoshi hito: I really (really) love the mellow beat that it starts off with and it was a nice change from most of his rock songs. As the song nears the middle, I really like how the beat seems to get more dramatic and then gets back into that slow melody at the end. I didn't like the PV much though, he was a weee bit too feminim in that for me in it.

Biba Biba Bibappu Jinsei Naki Warai (not sure if thats right but that's what it says ob my play list): Aha well, I saw him playing this song on lfx and it's just a very catchy song. bebop style~

Gigpig Boogie: Ahh, I fell in love with this song more when I saw it on lfx (loves when Miyavi plays live on lfx heart ) the PV for this song was good too, had that old school feel to it? aha *shrugs*

Kekkon shiki no uta: Another one of those up beat songs, besides I liked the harmonica in it 3nodding This is one of those songs where I actually enjoyed the PV more than the song though. It was very entertaining to see Miyavi in a wedding setting!

Onpu no tegami: I wish to find some translations for this song, but the beat is very slow and mellow so i find it very calming. His voice sounds pretty low in this one too but it fits the song. I guess it's a nice change from his very up beat and fast songs so it earns an instant place in my favorites.

OH GEEZ! domokun haha hella favorites huh? there's a few more too (bare with me please, i really do enjoy a lot of his songs lol) xd

Peter Pan Syndrome: I love the way this song starts out, so much that this is one of the songs I want to learn how to play on my own guitar. But that will have to wait until I get better at holding rhythem and find tabs for it.

Are you ready to rock?: I hated this song when I first heard it because he was screaming the lyrics sweatdrop . But it sounded soooo much better in one of the lfx preformances where he actually sang the song. so so much better, and I was able to pay attention more to the music than his screaming and began to love it.

Kimi ni negai wo: I love the fairytale feel of this song. I liked the PV for it too (Miyavi jammin' in his jammies what's not to love about that? lol) I liked the translation for the song too because it reminded me of my friend who went off on vacation for a whole month and i missed him a lot.

ahaha that's it for me I'm sure there's probably 1 or 2 songs I left out but eh, this is long enough? tee hee *poof* domokun

Hi! I'm Prince Orange. biggrin Lets see... I'm 14 years old and I live in Canada, Alberta. I just found out about Miyavi, but learning more and more about him and his lifestyle just makes him more interesting to me. smile

To tell the truth, I thought he was alittle scary at first, but then I got used to him and now I think he's beautiful. biggrin He's my NO. 2 idol because I think his "spazzing" is quite creative. ^^ He makes me smile and I like people like that. :3

I liked these songs:

Jibun Kakumei

Girls Be Ambitious

Senor Senora Senorita

Pop is Dead

And many more I forget to mention. biggrin I wish I could support him, but however, my dad is rather strict against Japanese things so I can't. sad Maybe someday I can. ^^

I hope I can get along with all the guild members, even though I'm mostly a K-POP/ROCK fan. biggrin

Miyavi also has Korean releases of his albums if you can get away with that. The music's still in Japanese, but he's getting pretty popular in Korea and possibly more so after he announced his heritage.

@c0o0okie: XD Yay Bay Area! My hometown/area. =3 I miss home, but I like being away from it too and I like SoCal.

Yup, you can try asking her for things like this, which is an online link to a shop that sells the Korean Version of his latest album. 3nodding

Yo!

Name: halcyon (from the song by mono if anyone cares :3 )

Age: 20

Location: Sweden

quality/ability I'd like to have fly with immensly impressive shaolinmunkpowers, and glittery. (I'll answer that question even if it is not asked! >:3 )

Music and influences: elliott smith, stina nordenstam, doremidan, mucc, merii, plastic tree, songs: ohia, the black heart procession, miyavi, bright eyes, gorillaz, godspeed you! black emperor, khonnor, mogwai, explosions in the sky, fugazi, kra, toe., yoshiko goto, bugy craxone, the back horn, envy, anna ternheim, josé gonzáles, arab strap, atsushi sakurai, the sex pistols, the blondie plastic wagon, blam honey, dorlis, dokusatsu terrorist, tommy february6, franz ferdinand, gwen stefani, vogus image, thee michelle gun elephant, supercar, steve von till, Quruli, merry-go-round, sugartrip, the Stalin, deadman, logh, macDonald duck eclair, last days of april, kozi, Bad luck, nittle grasper, Kristofer Astrom & Hidden Truck
for starters...

miyavi songs/PVs: well, the joshou gaidou & POP is dead PVs are my favourites of the old miyavi, but what immediately springs to mind is GIG-PIG-BOOGIE. I loved the song, I loved the video, it remains as a truly happy moment in his career in my mind.
but I can't really decide... his first singles as MYV were such excellent PVs! the gorilla and children and spots on his face and arabs and sararimen... I forget how much I like them!
Itoshii Hito 2006, kimi ni negai wo, senor senora senorita, and ashita, genki ni naare too... I like almost every one very much.

as for songs... (should I be allowed to continue? xD ) I've always been most into the acoustic miyavi, and everytime I there is a new lfxclip or something with him playing guitar my fandom returns with greater intensity. which happens quite often. (yes, I'm a bad miyaviko in that way... and I am always very skeptic about his non-acoustic songs at first...)
uh but yeah, lots of favourites. can't decide. <3

Randomness: I got Myv Pops the other day in the mail. I jumped up and down and squelled like a school girl!

Name: Aya (and this is my real one). Although when I go on forums, a lot of people call me Aya-san, just for no reason. XD But the respect is nice. 3nodding

Location: I live in New York City. The empire state, with apparently the first roller coaster (which I rode today at Coney Island), the smoke, the subways, and probably skipping school to go to a Miyavi concert here (one day, please one day) would probably be a bad idea. And I always wish I was somewhere else, but heck, I do love this city in it's weird way.

Age: (bari bari no) 15

Your favorite Japanese bands/artists: MYV (why would he not be on this list first???? xd ), Gazette (Reita!), An Cafe, SID, Alice Nine, Kagrra, Kra, Nightmare, Doremidan, Ayabie, Luvie, Baroque, Pierrot, Serial Number, Janne Da Arc, Gackt, Larc, etc. That was in no specific order. Just Miyavi is my fav solo, and Gazette my fav band.

Your favorite Miyavi song/PV and why:
Well, asking me to choose my favorite Miyavi song is like asking me to choose my favorite child (which I don't have yet but someday . . . ). And it's really hard for me to do that. I did watch Ashita, Genki ni Naare before and cried. I don't really know why. Maybe it was the thought of him leaving indies and becoming major. Becoming major isn't necessarily a bad thing, but you can't say that nothing changes. So I'm the type of person that likes to hold on to the things I have because I don't want them gone. But if you think about it, even though you may lose many things, you gain somethings too. You gain a lot of things. So I guess even though he became major, he's still Miyavi. I just don't want him to overwork himself. If he wants to relax sometimes, then he should be able to. His well being is important to me. Okay, I'm rambling . . .
But back to the question . . . I don't have a favorite song/pv. Not really. It's impossible to when you've seen so many sides of him. Every single song and PV he makes IS him, and they all reflect a certain character he has. So for me to choose something over another is hard, because this is all of him.
