Then when I showed her Siren she restarted her entire game because she had missed that GF. A few years later she sold me her copy and her ps1 since she had gotten a ps2. She didn't know you could get GFs from the Bosses in Ultimecia's castle did she? Nope, neither did I at the time, I was just trying to draw magic and when I saw Siren I wondered what that was. Granted starting over from the point she was at to get Siren would be a whole lot faster than getting her from the bosses in the castle. I killed Ultima Weapon five or six times because I kept forgetting to draw Eden. Finally got it. Incidently do you put all your gfs on the group you are using or do you split them up? If so who gets which gfs? I split them among the group I use... I label each setup: Squall- Zell- Quistis- As these are the first characters you get to split GF's with I have to look to tell you exactly who has what, but it is very static in my different saves Oh I split them between everyone Squall -- Quetzcotl, Bahamut, Pandemona Rinoa -- Brothers, Carbunkle Zell -- Siren, Cactaur, Doomtrain Quistis -- Shiva, Eden, Leviathan Selphie -- Ifrit, Cerberus Irvine -- Diablos, Alexander, Tonberry Don't ask me why they get who the get, that's just the way I like to split them up.... sweatdrop

the only thing I didnt like was the junctioning system, it was too complicated. I just used auto junction all the time

Friija the only thing I didnt like was the junctioning system, it was too complicated. I just used auto junction all the time It's not that bad once you get the hang of it. Just junction the REALLY powerful spells to the stats you want to increase. Incidently Esuna is great to have in the status protection area.

Holy on status protection is the BEST! Then Esuna. Brilliant combination against Malboros. And I so love Doomtrain heart

Alithaia biggrin Oh I LOVED the junction system! I think I played around with that more than the game lol Holy on status protection is the BEST! Then Esuna. Brilliant combination against Malboros. And I so love Doomtrain heart Heh Doomtrain, I used that on everything. Perfect way to make your enemy a helpless wreck.

I liked to keep Pain on status defense
100% against Poison, Blind, Silence, and Curse
then I would have all of them immune to Confuse
1 immune to Death and Petrify
1 immune to Berserk and Death
and 1 immune to Berserk and Petrify
Elemental Defense always has 100 ultimas (when I manage it) for up to 50% absorption on all eles and then just mess around til I get a satisfactory w/e
as far as basic stat junctioning, I have the players guide, but I don't listen to it and I can never remember how I have it junctioned (even while playing, and that just means more pain when it removes all my junctions for no apparent reason)

curaga had my life to 9999
ultima had Squall's attack maxed
then i had his evasion nad speed maxed with something
for my elemental i used maxed flare so i at least absorbed the three elements fire ice lightning, i thing i used shell or/and reflect for the rest
my status was protected by max deaths pain, probably meltdown as well, cant' remember...
i split the GF's so at least everbody could fill up their stats, cept for Squall i gave him the best

Speaking of, has anybody ever defeated Omega Weapon?

its been a while since i played it but is omega wepon the one on that little island with the machine where you have to answer those questions or am i thinking of something else?

No , that's Ultima weapon. Omega weapon is in Ultimecia's castle , in the purple cloud. And I did beat it several times. I think I had Auto-Life , but I cant remember what I did though redface
