She smiled happily. "You seem like a very nice boy Riku, may I call you that? It'll be easier for me to remember. There is no need to add to the front or end of your name. Only the Masters and the Mistresses of the house have to but if they are lenient you won't have to call them by that. Like I am going to give you the choice to just call me Kyu." She moved closer to the door going around him to peek out. She had an inkling at who it may be and smiled. "While we wait for my friend to find me would you like to tell me a little about yourself?"

As Martin rounded the corner, he spotted a cat boy standing in a doorway which opened from the hall. He smiled, as he was pretty sure he had seen some purple hair retreat into the room. Martin continued to stride towards the room at a leisurely stroll, sizing up the boy by the door. I wonder who the cat boy is... he's kinda cute in a 'look-mom-a-kitten-followed-me-home-from-school-can-we-keep-it' kinda way.

"Oh, yes yes. Call me anything you like." He blushed slightly and continued. "I'd feel disrespectful if I didn't call you Mistress Kyu, but thank you for giving me permission to call you otherwise." Rikudou's ears turned and twitch wildly, it was her friend...but he gave off a certain scent the he didn't like. Of maybe it was just all in head. But etheir way. If he was her friend, she'd stop him from chewing of his leg. He twirled around to look out the door. The man was shorter than him, but not by much and his eyes were pierceign through him. Like he was looking at him up and down. He blushed softly and conjured up another growl as he drew nearer. Rikudou looked nervously at Mistress Kyu and his face turned completely red.

Martin saw the catboy turn his way. He looks scared or at least a little freaked out, Martin noted. I hope that wasn't my fault... calling out to the boy Martin asked "Have you seen Miss Kyu or Miss Aoi, around here? I'm haveing a dreadful time finding them."

Kyu walked closer to be seen. "Hello Martin." She smiled warmly. Kyu put her hand on Riku's shoulder for comfort be it needed or not. "How have you been?"

"Just fine," Martin replied, taking a little bow, "As is customary in Durem, I have a gift for you to thank you for your kindness and hospitality." Martin fished around in his pocket and brought out the necklace, holding it out for her to take.
((in case you didn't/don't want to read my work process in the blacksmith's shop, it is adorned with a silver pendent covered with a circle of copper. In the copper, Kyu's initials have been engraved. The entire pendent has been coated in a thin sheet of glass.))

((Oh oops! ^^; I was thinking about a different character of mine. @_@ All of my characters are 6'2" besides this one. And I have 9 characters. Please forgive me.))
He stopped growling as he came in. The necklace was beautiful and it shimmered with the light through the window. (And somewhat through the door.) Rikudou's eyes were decieveing and the man was taller than he looked from afar. In fact he was the shortest one in the room. Small and closed in. But that wouldn't get in his way too much. He seemed nice and giving but he still made Rikudou frozen with fear. His eyes were as wide as they were before, maybe even bigger. And he lowered his head before him, his face turning completely red. He felt as though it was his whole body, but then again he didn't think that was possible. "Thank you, Mistress Kyu for being so nice to me and I'm guessing your name is Master Martin?" His eyes creeped out from his small curlled up body and sticked to him slightly. Then looked back down again. He looked back at the pendant. I wonder if he gives those to everyone since his said it was 'customary'. But...for some reason it feels like something more...

Kyu was touched. "It's beautiful." She took it very gently and held it up before her. "Would you like to do the honors of helping me put it on?" She glanced at Riku and gave him a quick hug to whisper in his ears. "Do not be afraid. In my home we are all your friend even if your superior. I may take you as my own." She stood back up.

Martin takes the ends and reaches around her neck and refastens it in the back. Taking a chance, Martin leans around and gives her a quick peck on the check. As if suddenly realizing what he had done, Martin backed away blushing furiously staring at the floor.

Rikudou's tail straightened and his eyes widened as she hugged him and whispered into his ears. And he blushed at what she said. He wanted to ask if she meant it but then she turned to Master Martin to put on her necklace. It really suited her and it was a dazzl- Wait a second! Did he just kiss her? Oh hell no! It's on now! Another growl rumbled from him and his eyes stabbed through Master Martin. But then he hit his chest and gave off a smile that it was alright. "Habit...sorry..." He whispered softly, still hitting his chest. It's not my duty to protect her. I would do anything to protect and yet...I just met her...I guess I have a soft spot for ladies. But...she isn't anything to me, and the other way around. They were friends. Meaning, they already knew each other. They just met. His ears lowered again and he blushed again, stepping away from Mistress Kyu.

Kyu was startled just for a split second and then smiled. He was sweet though she never really thought of things of the sort. She wanted to take care of everyone at the castle so never really had time to take care of herself except for the norm. She smiled at Riku, it was cute to her that he was protective so quickly. Maybe she would take charge of him. But again she never really took on slaves of her own, it was rare. "Alright boys, if we could leave me room now that would be great. As I had told Riku I was on my way out when he showed up."

Lilith explored the castle. She was very curious and noticed it was very empty. She didn't mind she only knew the ladies that ran the place and nothing more. "Hello?" she said quietly not wanted to attract too much attention but wanted to find the lady with purple hair. She stopped and stood around gripping onto her bear and peaking through her hair that had fallen into her face.

"So, Riku," Martin said, turning to the slave nest to him, "You want something to eat? People are usually pretty hungry when they finally get here." Martin began to lead the boy away from Kyu's door, the blush still fading off his face.

Rikudou walked towards the door with them and looked to the ground again. "Oh...thank you for the offer but...I don't eat." He said it point, blank, and simple like it wasn't a big deal or anything. Which it wasn't to him. But many people start acting crazy when they know that of him. Like he was going to die...or something. He looked up at him. "But if you both are hungry I could watch you eat."

"Are you sure? Nothing to drink or anything?" Martin was a little unsure. He had never heard of someone who didn't eat, but stranger things had happened. "Come along, I think I heard someone downstairs."
