What is it about NIN?
Trent's *vibes* if you will- resonate trhough his music leaving the listener with a feeling as if you were seeing life through his eyes. no way to be an aesthete to trents music.

my favorite song evr is wish, my friend was sayin how baddly he hated them so i lent him NIN with downward spiral and now 3 weeks latr he has evry NIN cd

My friend had tickets so I went and saw them about two months ago. I've heard a few songs from this band but mostly, I didn't know most of the stuff they were playing. They aren't too bad... I mean, they've got the typical dark atheist image and all to attract fans and while the views and opinions expressed through their lyrics aren't in disagreement with mine, I feel a lot of it is pretty cliche.
The guitars drone... I hate that. But the industrial elements are catchy, I'll give them that... but also repetitive sad . Well, that's my opinion anyways.

I long for them to come back to Pittsburgh. saw them last summer with Bauhaus, one of the best shows I've been to.
