It was how I got in the middle of the band [they were in an arc] to do my first solo.

This year so far I haven't got any passthroughs, but my sophomore year I had a passthrough through 2 trumpets while getting out of a cradle. well, it was the practice before our last big competition and I racked both of them because of a lack of timing on my part (I think...). they both kept marching, but not playing the rest of the show.

usually once i am good with the drill and the work i can avoid hitting bandies, but we were learning drill yesterday and i had to pass through some trumpets and i totally hit this poor freshman trumpet with my rifle. i felt so bad, and i didn't know which one it was so i couldn't go apologize redface
but last year we had just put work to one part and our instructor said to try it with drill and we'll see what happens. I was passing through the flutes and i slammed one of them on the wrist with my flag sweatdrop but all the flutes hated her and since i used to march flute they all knew me, so they all thanked me. the girl i hit was pissed though... good times hahahah
