Yeah, I have to agree that FMA is one angsty anime. I was really really crying a lot of the times. Then a few minutes later I'd be rolling on the floor xp FMA has that talent.
Scrapped Princess is rather sad, too.

I though Immortal Rain was sad.....I like cried a lot in the 3rd book...it was sad. crying

the last (or last few) of Wolfs Rain were sad
a bit of Witch Hunter Robin
some of FullMetal Alchemist was sad
and a few part in Digimon was sad

I heard Full Metal Alchemist is just gonna get sadder and sadder. I wonder what more can happen to those poor Elric brothers. : (
