Phantom looked down and muttered a thank you.
"Lita showed up with him and he instently started following me around." Varun said, lookign at the little black and white foal.
"Papa was the only other horse with the black and white i had seem, you see Madame. Light colored horses, such as Madame Nura, scare me. I much rather stay with horses who have dark or black colors..." the foal explanined, looking much less scared now.

How puzzling. Anon saw nothing wrong with horses of a different color, but perhaps Phantom had a good reason for no trusting them. It wasn't for her to say whether that way of thinking was necessarily right or wrong.
"And it seems you ave done well finding the black and white horse so quickly. There do seem to be a good number more light colored horses here, yes?"

Phantom nodded.
Varun looked at the foal. "arn't you supossed to be somewhere?" he asked.
Phantom seemed to think for a short time before remebering. "oh yeah. I'm sorry Madame but i gotta go. it was nice to speak to you." he said quickly before nodded to Varun and darting off.

Anon laughed and smiled. Foals were always busy and she didn't like to keep them from their activities. They seemed able to find fun in anything. A qualitly she herself searched for in others. "It vas nice speaking to you too."
As he disappeared she raised her head back up once more to Varun. "He is very cute. You air lucky to have such a foal adore you."

Varun nodded, smiling a bit. "yes, he is a real good kid, i jsut wish he wasn't so timid around others, makes me wonder how he'll be when he grows up." The stallion sighed. He cared alot about the colt. He had never in his life had a thing to care for, Phantom was his first real responsibility in life.

"They are sometimes slow in losing the shyness. Perhaps he just needs to play wiv others more, I'm sure he will be losing some timidness in time, yes?" There was a certain time in life when everyone was presented with the opportunity to come out of their shells. She hoped he would be open to it.

"Most likely your right. Would probebly do him some good to have a mother or somthing. I mean all he's got to look up to is me right now, and it leaves him alone a good number of times." Varun said. "Besides, its a proven fact mares are better teachers then stallions when it comes to foals."

Anon shook her head and smiled. "Perhaps. You air doing well with him so far though, he is nice. I wish I could help, but I don't know any mothers." Though she didn't see how he would have a hard time finding a mare willing to mother Phantom. They were both very nice.

Varun bit back a question and simply nodded. The he thought for a few moments, curious as to how his question would affect the beautiful mare before him. Finally he desided nothing horrible could happen and asked, "What about you?". His voice was steady, but not as loud as usual, as if he wasn't really sure he sould be asking such a question, but he did not sound afried or hesitent as all.

Anon was startled and looked at him quite surprised. She thought on it. Never before being a mom left her with only vague ideas of what she should do, but if she ever did have foals now would be a good time to learn. And Phantom wasn't that bad of a foal at all. Varun seemed nice. They could both be very nice friends.
She wasn't sure how to phrase it, "I will mother your foals, yes?"

Varun shook his head lightly. "forget it, silly idea." he said. Anon was vary sweet, almost to be point of being childly innocent, and he felt some what wrong to ask such a question. He knew, after talking and studying the mare, that he did feel an attraction towards her. It was stronger then the physical atraction he felt when he saw a pretty mare here or there. This had more meaning. How much more he wasn't sure, but definatly more.

Anon was slightly confused, but she believed she got the gist of it. "Non non mon ami. C'est not a silly question." She took a step towards him with a hopeful face. "Phantom can even be teaching me english."

"Anon..." he began slowly. "I...I don't think you understand what i asked...what my question truly was..." he said. Anon, for all her simplicity and niceness, did not convay weather or not she understood somethings well.
