Lucy Lawless has actually said that she doesn't want to do Wonder Woman.. All the actresses who've said that they would like to do it don't fit the role. crying

Lucy Lawless in the role, while enjoyable, is too predictable in the way of casting. She played Xena, which is a lot like Wonder Woman. She would, essentially, be typecast. Chynna has the body, but her face isn't... well... photogenic.
They'll probably have to go with an unknown to play the role, but I wouldn't be unhappy with Charisma Carpenter from Angel. Although she would have to bulk up a bit beforehand.
