Alykia-I could understand on different CDs but on the same CD?! That's just...No.
I mean, listen to Breaking the Habit and Numb. They sound the same pretty much. Along with many other songs off that CD.
Tama- What version? The EP or the Re-Animation? If you say the Re-Animation, I highly suggest you check out the EP version.

David Fox Mortician David Fox numb is the best but in the end is just classic i coulda sworn blind you liked Faint the best stare according to your other thread at least whee yeah, sorry typo sweatdrop thats what i do for looking at poll after i had voted. yes i voted for faint oh well. i am the only one who likes Numb. no big deal

Fallen_Flame Ok. I will now post my long rant about disliking them. I really dislike Linkin Park. At first, in 1998 when they released the Hybrid Theory EP, I thought "Hey, this is a cool CD." So yeah, when Hybrid Theory then came out in 1999, I checked it out as well and I was liking it...a lot. Then, Linkin Park made their mistake. Re-Animation was the worst thing that I have bought to this date. I hated the remixes of most of my favorite songs. Like "My December" was MUCH better on the Hybrid Theory EP than it was on Re-Animation. They ruined their own song and it just so happened to be my favorite(and still is) song by them. Then, 2003, they released Meteora. I thought..Hmmm maybe it'll be an improvement from Re-Animation. Nope..It was horrible. All the songs sounded the same but just different lyrics. It pissed me off to no end.[/rant] That's just my opinion though. ok there was 1 thing that bothered me in that post. you said all the songs on meteora sounded the same. the band takes an immense amount of time writing their songs and sometimes it takes months just to get 1 song written. they rewrite them over and over until they get it the way they want it......thats all i have to say

Of course their songs all sound the same because all Jonathan Davis writes about is his past experiences and s**t. Krono- Whether they take months to write one song or not, I think all the songs sound the same either way. The lyrics are different and very...angst.

anyway Linkin Parks songs arent completely sadness hahaha . . . . I mean it is but then it talks about breakin out of the darkness too . . . more so than it did at the beginning . . .

Mr. Hahn is possibly the best rock DJ as it were around. and all the LP videos come out of his head and he directs them at te same time as performing in them. now if he was removed from the band it is like saying that you will take Ruud Van Nistelrooy from Manchester United and man utd will still win the league.........AINT GONNA HAPPEN!!
