Its because my parents don't like those kinds of music, so it took me 15 years to finally discover them.

i'm constantly listening to the radio, only way to hear new music...and there's lots of it from some really good bands

Try this one 'Circus of Dead Squirrels.' Yes, I know the oscrucity of the name, but just, check them out. The first song on their myspace you can laugh about, but the 2nd one you can't.
