What would the questions be like?
"It's Friday night. You..."
A) Go out on a date to the movies. B) Visit the rock concert and mosh for hours on end. C) Get it on with your boyfriend/girlfriend. D) Invite your friends over for poker. E) Play Scrabble.
The funny thing is that there's always that one last choice that you know is different from the others. You just know it. Somehow.
And finally...
"YOU ARE __% ASEXUAL!".
...screw inaccuracy, it'd be one awesome quiz.

I might be mistaken, but I think there is an asexuality quiz on okcupid, if any of you know that site. Dating site, I only joined for the quizzes (didn't even know it WAS a dating site).

Amusing results, indeed.
Say, you can't really be 50% asexual, can you? 33%? 9.24%?
Asex-o-meters. Reminds me of the asexual roller coasters. "You have to be this asexual to ride."

what... would that be to prevent excessive sexual reaction to the ride? xd
and in some abstract sense, maybe you can be a certain percent asexual, though obviously no test devised by humanity could give an accurate value, like personality assessments.
what i mean is, if your sex drive can be at any level or value between the extremes, most people are going to fall between. Of course, it would be ridiculous to say that only people past a certain point can call themselves asexual (like the ride concept)... but asexuals differ to some extent on that spectrum too. It would be hard to determine if you're 100% asexual, because sexuality is so vast and blurred in implications nowadays that nearly anything can be said to be connected with it...
i would like to take that quiz though xd

Yes. No one is allowed to moan in pleasure on the ride.
Asex-o-coaster. Heck, Asexyland.
True, perhaps no one is 100% asexual. But what marks the asexual domain? If you are above 20%? 40%? 70%?
Sadly, Asexyland would suffer from lack of consumer satisfaction.

Until you feel comfortable in saying that you are asexual. My personal measurement of 50% asexual may be different from another person's measure of 50% asexual. Since the measurement of asexuality is relative to each person, we can only judge ourselves on an individual basis.

Maybe some asexuals are a bit "I'm the only asexual in the village" and you're never as asexual as they are lol

RandomDent Maybe some asexuals are a bit "I'm the only asexual in the village" and you're never as asexual as they are lol (Little Britain reference for the non-British-TV watchers) We have that TV-show over here in Sweden too. I got myself a button saying "I'm the only gay in the village".
Man, it's so hard being the only asexual in the village!

I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer, hell, I'm not even the sharpest spoon, so I was just wondering if you could clarify somethign since I don't fully understand what you mean by the first sentence. Is it meaning that someone can say they are asexual assured that they are right and have no doubt, or is it that you have to personally be at ease with and happy with the asexual label?

I think of it as the latter. Be comfortable with a label you place on youreslf.
Sharp spoons. Those don't serve a practical purpose, do they? Cutting up...soup? Or cereal?
I don't think people can be "right" about their asexuality. Based on our experiences, we declare it or we don't, but even our sexuality isn't a right-wrong yes-or-no kind of thing. Can we really be 100% sure that we're asexual? Or heterosexual? Can we be so absolutely sure that we don't dare think otherwise? I do not subscribe to the idea that one can be "right" about his own sexuality because there is always some sort of doubt associated with any decision; it is in varying degrees that this doubt is measured. You can be very doubtful or not so very doubtful.
Geeze. What the hell am I trying to say? I can't get around myself sometimes.
To sum up: it is impossible to be "right" about one's sexuality, or anything else, since there is always a little bit of doubt associated with everything. We are very doubtful about predicting the weather but not so doubtful about determining the answer of two plus two (0.0000001% doubt...1984 reference right here).

If you know the works of Alfred Jules Ayer, his book 'Language, Truth & Logic' states that mathematics does NOT have that minute chance of being wrong, being what philosophers would deem a necessary truth. Mathematics is merely a series of different man-made definitions related to each other, and since mathematical terms have certain definitions, there is no possibility of two plus two equalling anything but four, as that is determined by the natures of the defintions of 'two' and 'four'.
Some things can be known, although I, like you, don't believe sexuality to be one of them. The Kinsey Institute, for example, says everyone is a little bit homosexual/heterosexual. Perhaps non-libidoists could be an exception, but.... Hehe, like you I'm rambling without having a real point. Anyone got some Cherry Coke?

Mm. Cherry Coke. I have not had that in awhile. Or soda, for that matter.
I think I'm bicurious. I think. At least that's what my friend tells me. She thinks I'm quite odd.
But definitions can be altered with we decide so. One, two, or any other number is arbitrarily assigned to a figure to represent a specific value. For all we know, four could be five or five could be four, since they're just words we're using to connect text to numbers. With this in mind, it is possible to have two and two make five, if we determine the summation to be so. Same applies to the laws of physics.
1984 logic is weird.
