~Serra Angel~ DR490N meh. i dont really like being human very much. i wish i at least had my scales and wings...then i'd at least be comfortable in my own body. What's wrong with being human? You got something against opposable thumbs and developed frontal lobes? i had opposable thumbs and developed frontal lobes as a dragon too. i just dont like being human because humans are stupid, self sentered, and boring, not to mention the fact that i simply dont feel comfortable in this body.

personally, i think you're just getting plainly annoying now.

personally, i think you're just getting plainly annoying now.I agree. I've told you before what I think of your human-bashing, DR460N. You as an Otherkin, Vampire, or specifically a dragon aren't inherrently better than anyone else for any reason. Personally, I think your closed-mindedness on humans as a whole makes you even WORSE than those humans that do give the rest of them a bad name. It's elitist people like yourself that leave the Otherkin community looking questionable to the rest of the world. Keep in mind that even not considering the fact that some of your fellow 'kin are getting tired of your bashing, there are several humans in some of the guilds you frequent, and you may be helping to give those open-minded individuals bad opinions of us. And just so that you've been warned, I better NEVER see you pulling any of this superiority crap in Modern Day Vampires. I don't say that to show off rank or anything-- I say that because I think our community needs to keep a check on actions of our fellow 'kin (be they legitimate OR wishkin in anyone's opinion) which would present a bad face to the rest of the curious world. And I mean to set good examples for humans as well as the newly awakened with the actions I take and the things I say. Perhaps you should consider doing the same.

[weezy] XD I know exactly what you mean. I've said that to myself -lots-, although for different reasons. x3 Mainly with my head, wondering why it isn't pointed, and have ears on the top of my head.

entropyweasel I've had mirror issues for a while now, thanks to the twin demons of gender and species discomfort. ._. Lately I find myself staring at my hands, just thinking "dammit, they should be webbed." It sucks that people don't have tails. kind of offtopic but anyway i think my 'phantom' or however it's called tail is far too long....i mean, like ridicuously long. when i walk i make it wrap around me so nobody bangs into it, i realized today i've been doing that subcounciously for a while, but i mean....i'm a lioness inside, and my tail is like six or seven feet long, that's just not normal even for an otherkin lioness...

Aikosola Do you think your own current appearance is influenced any by your past lives, or that you 'should' look like something else? Do you look alike to any of your known past lives? :3 Things of that nature.
For instance, I believe that I personally was 'supposed' to have black hair instead of my dirtyish dark blond hair. And I have pointed canines, but that probably doesn't have a lot to do with my wolf side. Heh.
Aaanyway. Thoughts plzkthx. <3
well....my imaginary sister looks quite a bit like i did in one of my past lives.....i could have made her that way subcounciously or (you never know) she could be a spritit and not imaginary at all.... i don't think i look like either of my 2 past lives though....except that i somehow kept my lioness soul (i THINK i did anyway) from another life but other than than i don't resemble any of my past lives, as far as i know. sometimes i just feel i should have paws and claws though (wtf, that rhymed...) it's like, i'll be staring at my hands and i'm like 'they're so ******** useless, these should be paws...' then i snap out of it and go do something else. it doesn't happen often but yeah...

I've found out quite a few past lives, and I know not my most recent past life, but I do know this: I've almost always had blue eyes. 3nodding I wish I could find my most recent past life, and then do some research on the person online to find out exactly what I looked like. Other than the blue eyes, I'm not too certain.
xd ....>_> I can dislocate my thumbs into a position fit for standing on all fours with balence though...

Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away, now it seems as if they're here to stay. Oh, I believe in yesterday. Suddenly, I'm not half the man I used to be, there's a shadow hanging over me, oh, yesterday came suddenly.
You know, I don't know what color eyes I have. They're sort of grey with green and blue in them, and some times brown and yellow all at once. I can ask ten people all at the same time to decide what color my eyes are and they will sit there and argue untill I have ten different colors for my eyes. It has happened. I don't know what this has to do wit past lives, but it might have some relevence. All I know is that I died at Kent State University once. I had long brown hair and was wearing a red shirt (or it might have been a dress) when I died. I don't know who I was, I just know these things. Maybe if I researched who died at the Kent State massacre, looked at pictures or something... maybe. I don't know.
Some times bits of lyrics run through my head untill they run together, like one sad happy song, soft and long, sixties incarnate... some how they make sense.
Free fall flow, river flow On and on it goes Breath under water 'till the end Free fall flow, river flow On and on it goes Breath under water 'till the end Yes, the river knows
Hey Jude, don't make it bad. Take a song and make it better....

Nah, I don't really think what I look like now has anything to do with what I looked like then. If it did, I would look INCREDIBLY ridiculous, seeing as there's no unifying thread through any of them, save myself. =_=
All the same, I'm not the fondest of this form. Oh, it's nice enough and all...Opposable thumbs are pretty rocking, and I must admit that I love the internet. I could even grow myself a nice set of claws! So while this isn't my favourite body... I like it.
Oh - and I have no one thing I'm "supposed to look like". My idea form would be a fluid one. Very often, though, I'll feel as though my hands are paws, or as though my palms are on the backs of my hands. It's strange.

Kit-fallen i don't think my current appearance has been affected by my past lives, simply because i look basically exactly like my mother when she was my age. looking at old pictures of her is like looking in a mirror.
i actually have an odd reaction with mirrors that over the span of my life i've gotten used to but never gotten rid of. i used to assume there was something 'wrong' with me because of how i could never look in a mirror and say truthly that was me. anytime i look in a mirror, it's like looking at a familar friend's face, not like looking at me. my mind has never been able to agree that the face in my reflection is -mine- regardless of the fact it follows all my movements. matter of fact, if i'm standing in front of a mirror and i move my hand or something, i jump at the fact the mirror moved too, which is a reaction i've tried to control unsuccessfully. it's rather amusing really but i get some weird looks if i suddenly flip out in a bathroom because my reflection moved. lol.
i've also had some amusing reactions to noticing my hair in my reflection or as it falls in my face or something. sometimes it's "what's this?" or a thought of "why's my fur so long..?"
i'm not sure what my mind wants me to look like but what i look like currently isn't it. i do like my dark hair however, and i couldn't see myself with light hair. Hm.
That's odd, because I actually feel pretty much the same way. I look at it, and I suppose I envision myself as looking different than I do.
Wow.

I have much the same reaction as several of the people on here have in relation to mirrors. I have a hrd time believing tha I'm actually looking at myself in the mirror. Whenever I need to use one, I have to stare at myself for a while before I start using it for whatever reason so that I'm used to seeing the image that's copying me or else I'll start looking for te person that's being reflected. I just have this feeling that i should have straight, shoulder length hair at all times, regardless of the fact that my air is actually so curly I wear a blonde afro when it gets long. I also get the feeling that it's supposed to be much lighter, like an almost white blond like when I was a little boy. I also get the feeling that my eyes should be either a lighter blue or a light green, maybe a mix of both, I'm 100% certain there.
