Jade is so awesome, and I've heard they're all really nice in person.
Does anyone know who the band originally actually consisted of? O.o I've heard so many different things =/

angeloftheforgotten Jade is so awesome, and I've heard they're all really nice in person.
Does anyone know who the band originally actually consisted of? O.o I've heard so many different things =/ The original guitarist was Mark (I forgot his last name) sweatdrop . The original bassist was Geoff Kresge. He went to Tiger Army after AFI, but I think he quit TA too.

Speaking of nothing in particular....
I went to the AFI show about a year ago. It was a pretty good show...Davey Havok gave me a studded bracelette.
I used to be obsessed, now I just listen to them when the mood strikes me, they are quite good, though Im not a fan of Sing The Sorrow, after that album I kind of stopped caring as much, i dont even know if any have come out since then... most of their music before that was good (in my view anyways)

I'm so excited about the new album. I actually 'discovered' alittle bit before Sing The Sorrow came out. how many of you are on the AFI/DF boards?

I've only heard "Silver and Cold" but I love that song. I'm looking into more AFI now actually, they seem awesome.

xXx White Lily xXx I love AFI but I'm sorry to say I only own sing the sorrow. But I do love it and really want to see them live. Can't wait for the new album.
Oh, and on MTV on 31st Oct, there's gonna be a programme about the cure and I hear AFI shall be performing a cover of a cure song. That should be good 3nodding Y'know I never got to see that! Did they run it here in the States? Anyway I love AFI, they're so different than anybody out there now... And Davey's voice is great! I'm glad he got better! 3nodding

I got into AFI when one of my friends told me about them. My dad got me the Sing the Sorrow album and I became a huge fan. I am really glad that I heard of them! heart
