Kento walked up to the door and looked at the stone wings on eather side. "Pretty cool...wonder what it looks like inside." she said to herself. She opened the door, and spread her wings as she stepped out into the groundless space. "I'm not late am I?" she asked still looking around.

She flies around for a minute before seeing the boy on the platform. She flies over and hovers in front of him. "I was wondering the same thing...I'm Kento Urashima by the way." She said dropping on the platform next to him and folding her wings in.

"Oh yea! My memory's off a bit I suppose. Got too much going on for my own good." She said rubbing her right hand across the back of her head.

Myles stretches his wings out and leans back, waiting for the class to start.

After a few minutes he gets bored, and sore from sitting on the hard platform, so he gets up and decides to practice shifting. He stretches, then closes his eyes, concentrating... and shreds his sneakers apart as his feet burst into two-toed draconic paws with sharp talons.

"Oops." redface

He sits down again and starts pulling what's left of his socks and shoes off of his feet, and then flexes his toes experimentally. Sleeves of skin slide over his talons, then slide back. "Interesting." He flexes again, and the sheaths cover his claws completely, and he holds them there a few seconds before letting them pull back. "Very interesting..."

Springing on his new legs a bit, he runs to the edge and dives off. He freefalls for a moment, then pulls up and swoops like a pro. After circling a bit, he lands, and blinks. His arms have changed now too, while he was flying. His pinky fingers have grown bizarrely long, and separated from his hands, coming straight from his wrists now. His other fingers now have long talons replacing them up to the second joint, with similar sheaths to the ones on his toes.

"Ummm.... I'm not doing this on purpose anymore... eek "
As he watches, a wing-like flap of skin grows along the underside of his arm and along the extended digit.

"To a degree, yes...", he says as his ears disappear and are replaced with fin-like crests.

"But at the moment, I'm trying my damnedest NOT to..." His speech now is a bit slurred as his tongue has become thinner and his front teeth have all grown together.

"I just have to STOP." He closes his eyes, grits his teeth and clenches his fists, and his face changes more slowly. By the time he stops it completely, his nose and hair are gone as well. He reaches up a changed hand to feel his head. "Well, at least I stopped it." And then he raises an eyebrow-ridge in confusion, as his voice has come out sounding strange, more like a chorus of voices than just one.

He puts a hand to his chest. "I think... I've grown extra lungs? I can feel them... I can even work them separately." His voice sounds less and less chorusy, until it sounds more normal again. "There we go."

"I can only change into the one other thing, and since I'm not at all sure what that is I'd rather take it slow."

"Testing." he says. And then, in the chorusy-sounding voice, "testing."

"I see a little silhouetto of a man, scaramouche, scaramouche, will you do the fandango... well, if anything I'll be the king of karaoke. I think I'm stuck, but I also think it's got something to do with this room, so I'm not too worried. If this place is built the way I think it is, then I'm pretty sure any changing I do is going to be one-way as long as that door is closed. I can still fly, so I'll just wait to try and change back after class."
