There is absolutely no way posible that I could choose a favorite song. I love the point of no return. As for the movie, I like 'Twisted' the one after we have all been blind, only because it's the only song I felt the actress who played Christine really got into enough to prove she wanted to be in the movie, she definitely made it her own in the movie. I honestly care not for the movies Christine, her voice did not impress me all that much, on the high notes she deffinitely could have opened her mouth a little more and she scooped way to often.

Both "Angel of Music"s and The Phantom of the Opera. idea Anyone notice that they say Opra (I'm spelling it the way they sound BTW) and sing Opera.

The Phantom of the Opera by far, Music by Andrew Lloyd Weber, Lyrics by Charles Hart, and some other guy I can't remember. Which is actually a rock peice that scored 7th in the UK charts. Isn't that some fascinating nonsensical jibberish?

Mine would have to be "Stranger than you Dreamt it." I thought it really gave a human aspect to the Phantom and was well-written. I also liked "The Point of No Return" because of its well-written lyrics and "The Phantom of the Opera" because of it's dramatic feel. But, of course, I liked all the songs. I even liked the "All I Ask of You" (Reprise) and it was only about thirty seconds long. Of course, that song was very heart-felt. I had never, despite reading the books, been able to picture the Phantom crying.

Phantom of the Opera, Point of no Return, and.....Music of the Night, but ONLY when Crawford sings it. *melts*
then in the movie I loved Learn to be Lonely.
(also I LOVE My True Love......but thats a different story, thats Yeston's version. sweatdrop )
P.S. Phantom of the Opera scored 7th in the UK charts! 3nodding gotta love sarah Brightmen in a rock video. *looks up* oh wait, some one said that....

I love Past the Point of No Return...the first time I sat back and just listened to it...it was like...gah! Amazing! Other than that, I really really like Wandering Child, and the song with now lyrics 'Journey to the Cemetery'.
I also really love 'Down Once More' when it is sung in French..the lyrics change slightly...instead of 'Its over now the Music of the Night..." ...it goes something like: 'Without you the night no longer sings for me..." Of course, since it is in French, it does rhyme, but it is very very pretty anyways.
Also...gotta love 'No One Would Listen' from the bonus material.

Most people think it's "All I Ask of You" because I sang it last weekend with this guy I have an extreme crush on...*ahem* You didn't need to hear that.
My favorite is Music of the Night, but I sing it an octave higher so I annoy the hell out of my sister. Then I would have to say "The Phantom of the Opera" is right next to that one, being that I love to do the vocalizing part at the end(even though I still need to work on it).

Mine's a tie between Music of the Night, The Phantom of the Opera/Overture(I think of these two as connected), and Point of No Return.
