Hearing all the commotion had drawn Reia from her work and out of her house. Drying her hands on her skirt, the fabric cotton today instead of silk, she inclined her head at the crowd. Honestly... You would have thought they'd be used to outsiders using bending skills to protect people... Well then again...
With a shake of her head she pushed into the crowd, not surprised when one of the children ran and clung to her leg. She had become a babysitter of sorts from time to time. "What's all the commotion now? Don't you know that this part of town is a simple, quiet part? If you want to show off go near the tournament and further into the city. They'll be more then pleased to see your tricks."

Viper looked around and could tell sticking around wasnt really a good idea. He could tell by the clothes that the girl was from the fire nation army, if she reconized him he knew he would end up killing people again, and he couldnt live with that. Viper grabbed the Water bender by the collar and slammed his foot on the ground igniting enough fire to send him and the water bender in the air and landing on the roof. He turned to the girl who had the kids around her and started waving to the kids "Sorry to have bothered you nice lady, you kids stay out of trouble." Viper turned to the soldier girl "Sorry Soldier Girl, I'm going to have to take a rain check on that." With a little grin he motioned the Water bender to follow him and started jumping from roof to roof.

Shirika gave a salute to the nice lady down below, "Sorry for all the trouble miss!" He then turned and followed after Viper. In short order he became level with viper and said "The name's Observer, we need to head to that large tent in the center of town." He explained while pointing to it. "We can blend in with the crowds there and my archery event is starting soon. Oh and to anwser your question im not from a water tribe, I was born in to the pyre fire ( I don't know the tribe names so I'm making one up) tribe."

Viper just looked at Observer, and nodded "Interesting, a water bender born in the fire nation, you must've had to go through hell huh?" Viper laughed as they got closer to the tent. "Well, if you couldnt tell I'm from the fire nation as well, names Viper. So Archery huh, I'd enter, but I really dont want to draw attention to myself, you can say that I left the fire nation on bad terms." Not wanting to let his new comrade know who he really was he figured he would start playing it low.

She smiled. 'Hmmm, where ever they're going, it must be fun. I might get to kill a few people...' she thought to herself while glancing to the nice lady. She turned to the kids and smiled at them as well, though there seemed to be little emotion in her smile. She pulled out a small toy from her coat pocket and knelt down and held it out to one of the children. "Is this your's?" she asked.
Linka had found it outside the area. The thought crossed her mind to sell it, but a toy of this condition would be of little value to anyone, but the owner.

" Nah didn't go through anything to bad just getting exiled for acts of treason. Meaning that I and on the same day the fire nations army found out that I was a water bender." They landed on the ground neer the event tent. "Im just entering the turny for the prize money, I have to eat sometimes ya know?" He smilled one of his soft smiles. "You can come with me or I'll find you in about an hour after it's done. Shirika started to walk to the tent.

Viper looked around at the people and then back at Observer "Um....I dont really think I should be out in the open like this, I'll go with you." He smiled and followed Observer, but took a quick glance back and thought to himself 'I hope that Soldier Girl doesnt come over here, things would get really complicated' Viper found a straw hat on the ground and picked up, dusted it off, put it on, and kept following Observer.

Some one passing mentioned a tournament. Her ears picked up on it quickly and she stood up to listen, dropping the toy.
"Yeah, there's a huge tent in the middle of the town! It's supposed to give out a great reward. A new weapon and tons of cash!"
A smile crept across her face. 'A tourny, you say?' she thought to herself. 'I wouldn't mind entering. Maybe that accursed fire nation leader is there and he'll see my skills... but not my identity.'
She walked through the dispersing crowd and made herself look genderless. The cloak she hid was thrown over her shoulders. The mask was put on and her hair was tied in a pony-tail and tucked under her cloak. She then vanished into the shadows. Next she was seen at the tent, in the line up waiting to register. Right behind the two men she met earlier. 'Hmm... they're here too...' she thought. Linka made sure her symbol to the fire nation was hidden this time.

Viper kept a look out as Observer registered himself for the archery contest. Viper then looked at all the other tables and saw a tournament for an all out bending brawl. Viper was very intrigued but knew he couldnt or his identy would be known so he just stood next to Observer wating for him to finish.

As he waited to be confirmed for his regristration he scolded himself for no noticing the fire soldier earlier. He got his name from noticing even the smallest details. The registation man asked if shirika need to rent a bow. "No." He anwsered back as he pulled his pre-strung bone bow from under his cloak. " I have my own. Well lets get going then." He walked off to the waiting area.

Viper began to follow when he felt someone was watching he stopped "You go ahead, I'll catch up." As he left Viper turned around to see the Soldier girl standing there. Even with the cloak and mask he could tell it was her under there "You know Soldier girl, for someone so beautiful, you shouldnt really hide that beauty."

Shirika turned as his friend was speaking and now that he was looking he could tell it was the soldier. Damn what was with him today he just kept missing things! He walked back over to stop behind his friend but didn't say anything he was just going to see how things turned out and help out if a fight occured.

He'd been wandering a long while, trying to track him down. It was his assignment. Do this, and he could get out of the military and go home. A mission for a low-ranking militant, but he didn't care. FInd the traitor, bring the traitor back, resign with honor. Simple.
But, he surmised as he watched everything from a rooftop, maybe not. He had to find the traitor and, having no real idea what he looked like (he may be in disguise anyway), he was going to have to use some real detective work. Smiling to himself, he swung his feet a little. Fun.
This would be fun.

Once the commotion outside of her house has dwindled, meaning she could go back to work, she paused as the date suddenly came to mind. The tournament was going to be starting later today! Cursing, she quickly moved inside to change her clothing. She wasn't actively participating in it, but she had been hired out to perform for those who had signed up. She was a relief... Of sorts. Scoffing, she grabbed her fans from their hooks on the wall and dashed out of the house, long hair trailing behind her as she had forgotten to tie it back.

He saw her run from the house and got to his feet in curiosity. Where was SHE going in such a rush? He decided to follow her.
