I like them... It's just.. they're placed in REALLY random places.. Which is sometimes distracting...

Maybe they aren't random. Maybe they have some hidden purpose and it's up to us to figure it out....

Zippers make closing parts of clothing easier compared to buttons^^

The zippers don't maker the cosplay easier because they're huge (not sold in stores), and some zippers make it even harder to get in and out the outfit (the double-pully zippers on the Org coats?)

Zippers aren't hard to sew on, and they are sold in stores. You just have to know where to look. I made an Organization cloak from scratch, zipper and darts and everything. It looked just fine. You can buy a double zipper at Wal-Mart. The problem with the zipper? Put it on and don't plan to take it off for the reest of the day.

What I meant by 'not sold in stores' is the accurate size of the zipper. They're HUGE. In KH, there is no normal-sized zipper cuz they had to make them big enough for the player to see. Thus resulting in ludicrously huge zippers. The largest Zipper sold in stores is a jacket zipper, #10. The zipper I got for my Organization coat is a #30, bought online.
Also, zippers aren't the easiest thing to sew on, my sewing machine kept wanting to eat the thread because it got tangled in the zipper tape.

I used to like Nomura's art style, but now I'm starting to get really tired of his belts/zippers/buckles/spiky hair fetish. I used to incorporate those in my art, too, because I was so inspired by him. But now it's like...eh. boring and overdone.

To be honest, he's not the only one and he's definitely not the first. Check out Digimon, you have characters with ridiculous amounts of zippers, belts, and the like. Example: WizardmonAngewomonThey take it even further than Nomura ever did.
