Ginseku sat under the tree in the center of the town square. It was quiet, despite the constant sounds of raindrops creating white noise. He leaned against the trunk, his sword laying against his shoulder. He closed his eyees, beginning to sleep.

She looked down from the sky. The streets were practically abandoned. Only a few were outside. Sayuri gave up on her quest to find Ginseku and sat down on the roof to eat what he had given her. She would not spend the mon though.

Ginseku closed his eyes, slipping into a silent slumber. He dreamt an empty dream. Suddenly, the woman appeared as if from nowhere. And reached out a hand to help him up. He was apparently laying down, and inable to get up on his own. He took her hand. And just like that, he woke up.

Sayuri finished the unage, satisfying her hunger and rose to her feet. She would sleep in the rain tonight. It was after all only rain that she would endure. She left the rooftop and went to the base of the building. She leaned against it and tried to sleep, but her mind would not let her. Something about Ginseku kept her mind restless.

Ginseku had only slept 20 minutes, yet he felt invigorated. He rose to his feet. Walking down the street, past a hotel. He had decided to visit the shore.

She tried to sleep once more, but her mind resisted. She gave up and rose to her feet. She must find a way to put her mind at rest. Yet, she couldn't help but think that they would never see each other again, therefore she would never be able to repay the kindness of Ginseku. She began walking through the village. Maybe if she fell tired enough, she would be able to sleep for now.

Ginseku reached the bridge, and just as he reached the middle, he looke over the edge at the rushing rainwater running off into the river, which was brown now from the dirt. He felt a presence moving about town. Could it have been the woman from before? Regardless of his curiostiy, he turned back towards the dirt road. Headed to the shore.

Sayuri walked the streets, but saw no signs of Ginseku, as she thought she wouldn't. The wind grew more violent as the night moved on. She wanted to feel the full power of the wind. She cried out for Ginseku once again, hoping that the wind would carry her voice to him.

Ginseku thought he heard his name being called, just as he reached the edge of the bridge. He stopped immediately and looked back. There was a burst of dust, and Ginseku was gone. He now stood on top of the hotel he had met her at.

Sayuri swore she heard movement coming from the hotel. She listened for it. Someone was on the hotel roof. She could tell. The rain gave off a clear picture of a man. Ginseku. She raced to the rooftop and finally found him. "Ginseku. Please. Take this back, and I will repay you for the food you have given me." She extended her arm towards him. "Also, if I may ask. Why did you leave so quickly before?"

"Hm. You are right for both instances. I would have refused the gift. As for your question, I have not had funds since a month after leaving my home. Do not let that fool you though. I am quite capable of taking care of myself. I have been preoccupied though. Now I have another question for you. Are you a samurai?"

Sayuri sighed. "Then where were you trained? How is it you run with lightening speed?"

" I was trained in Hiiten Mitsurugi style swordplay. In that style, you need to have immense strength in your legs and arms in order to perform the high-speed techniques within. But thats not how i get from place to place. Running the long distances I do would be a waste of energy. Instead, i jump high into the air, so it seems that I disappear. It messes with peoples minds'. And gives me an edge. I was also trained in ninjitsu. And that is how i can move about silently."
