heheh the first thing I thought of is "Where is love?" from Oliver!

I am here. But where is here?
I have arrived at a place within myself
That I don't know. It is
Peace, the formerly elusive state.
I have carved out my own heart
And found the empty space
Makes a nice abode.
So I am here within myself,
Alone.

[Ohhh, funky. I don't actually feel like that - I mean, I am at peace but the line about the heart, no clue where it came from.]

I'm going to be annoying and right this...

She threw the blanket off the bed and dashed the pillows to the floor. Next she gripped the mattress and heaved it on top of the pillows crushing the alarm clock and the table lamp that where opposite the bed. Her sister, who stood poised by the door had her arms crossed and careless eyes to the ceiling.

"Where is it!?" Beie questioned her sister Sharday, who took no note of her.

"I knew you'd lose it." Sharday said now looking to the window.

"Shut up!"

Beie leaped over the mess on the floor and turned around to look under bed. Nothing. She panicked and turned to her wardrobe to pull apart her clothes.

"Damn. To hell with this - where the hell did I put it." Beie cried.

"Oh he'll be so mad when he finds you lost it."

She then remebered where her brothers game was and throw herself behind the door, nearly nipping Sharday in the nose.

"Got it!" Her frantic eyes lit up as she held the brothers favourite game. "I hid it from him because it ripped up my music sheets. I was gonna break it but he bought the songs back for me... and this game was a import from Japan."

"That's all good and fine, but mum's just come home. You need to clean up this mess..."

That's all from me! blaugh

"Where is it that we're suppose to go from here?" Tears streamed down her face as she remembered the great times she had had with Gregory. "I mean, just because his sister-"
"There there, I know. Please calm down Sophie." Melanie ran handed another tissue to her wishing she could do more. "At least it's not his fault."
"It's his fault if he let's someone stand in the way of our love!"
"You don't even know if it is love."
Sophie stood defiantely, knocking the used tissues off her lap. "I know it's love! You know nothing about this!" She then ran for her room, slamming the door and turning the lock as loudly as she could.
Melanie shook her head. She had tried to do all she could but the situation was tricky. Family hatred, friend disapproval, teenagers in love- it was all a lethal concoction. She sighed as she stared after her friend. "Where do we go indeed..."

Yeah, love was on my mind because of that song heart Hope you like!

Where do we go from here?
This isn't where we intended to be... etc. Sorry, so off-topic.

But I've already responded to this prompt! Gah!

Well being that NuclearOops has said his farewell I thought we could keep this alive. So if anyone has a theme they want us all to write about feel free to add it.

Here goes... well, the first thing that came to my head was sugar So if anyone has something to say about sugar feel free to add a poem, story etc... I'll add something later.

Peace heart

Sugar

The dark room purged the sound,
(from its veins)
The small lights streaked,
(signal flares)
Drums kept rhythm,
(pace kept by bass)
And you danced alone.

A twisting pale flower,
On the floor.
Black rose beauty,
Sweet sugarcane.
Untouchable
On the dancefloor.

Mmm sugercane... 4laugh

Ah, one last poem before thy farewell... I must say I can´t grasp the meaning in the poem... I need more time to think about it. Sounds like Haiku

If you don't want a spoiler, here's a hint: It's all imagery. Focus on the words.

If you do want a spoiler highlight below this line.

It's about a beautiful girl dancing at a nightclub. She's all by herself, but the speaker wants to dance with her, but is too shy to approach her. Hence the line, "untouchable on the dancefloor."

I think I get it now. Music is playing and someone is dancing alone... I guess someone is watching that person and refering to them as a black flower... The spolier helped somewhat too

muy bien! xd (very nice/fine)

Prompt: Sugar

Sugar

Since the war began a few years ago,
The elderly died and the children can't grow.
And they all crave a sweet grain as white as the snow,
That the people used to call sugar.

Even the rich can't afford it anymore.
It's eaten by no one, it's sold in no store,
And guards guard what's left of it behind a locked door,
Of the few bags of soft sweet sugar.

Well one day out in the wildest west,
A bag of sugar landed on one man's chest.
Out of what could have happened, this was surely the best,
For he now had a bag of sweet sugar.

But the news got out and the word spread around,
Of the man by which this sugar was found.
He had a bag of sugar, so sweet, soft, and round,
And they wanted his bag of sweet sugar.

Each person in town soon had grabbed their gun,
The kind with the bullets, not the kind meant to stun,
Because each of them wanted to be the one,
To bring home that bag of sweet sugar.

The fight soon started with an enormous blast,
That didn't stop as long as the fight did last,
And each man and woman fought so hard and so fast,
To bring home that bag of sweet sugar.

Well the fight soon ended, but nobody one.
Everyone was dead on the ground with their gun.
They never again would have any fun,
And it was all for a bag of sweet sugar.

A long while later a little boy would pass by,
A small figure alone against the dark sky,
And curiously walk to where a battered bag lie,
And pick up a bag of sweet sugar.
