Serenity grins trying her hardest not to giggle, "I know what you mean about that mate...wonder what sort of snobbish new Slytherins will be induced into the House of snakes. And you... always thinking of your boyfriend before us these days, I see." She winks at Mirage as she nudges her with her elbow.
Upon hearing Jade calling for her using her usual nickname, Serenity shakes her head as she turns around to face Jade. "Oy Jade!! Good to see you again, but do you really have to keep calling me Serendipity?" She raises an eyebrow as she folds her arms in front of her, trying really hard not to smile.

Mirage laughed, blushing feircly at the mention of her boyfriend, and nudges Serenity back with her elbow. If you didn't notice, I asked about you guys first, BEFORE I asked about him. I miss all of you guys! Hey Jade! She turns to greet her other friend with a hug. How was your summer? This castle may be full of secrets, but it's boring without any of you guys around to share it with.

Thought you guys would start greeting each other without me? A girl with long black hair and dark eyes suddenly appeared behind them. Gin had rarely-used glasses perched on the top of her head, her book bag swinging at her side with her 'muggle bought" cd player earphones hanging around her neck. "Hey seren, mirage, and jade, long time no see, how was your summer?" While listening to their answers, she took out some packages. "Here you go, nice gifts from my trip abroad." She had several packages in her hand, each tied carefully with a colored ribbon. "Lest see... the pink ribboned bag is for serenity, the green ribboned box is for jade, and the pale purple ribboned box is for mirage. Hey mirage, wheres drac? i have his gift somewhere here too...

Adrian grinned to himself as he hopped off the train. It was another wonderful year at Hogwarts. His last to be exact. He had a strange feeling that this was going to be a good year. Almost immediately he laid eyes upon a seventh year Ravenlcaw girl that had shown him a good time at the end of last year. He made his way over to her, deciding to take his chances on trying to get a repeat performance.

Jade looked at Serenity in surprise, almost scornfully. "Of course I have to call you Serendipity. You're Serendipity. And stop that. You know you want to laugh." Jade grinned.
She turned to Mirage, hugging back akwardly. Jade didn't hug very well. "Of course the castle's no fun without me. I'm Jade, Goddess of fun," she said, in fake-pompousness. "And I'm looking forward to hearing about some more of the castle's secrets. That is, if there's any we don't know about." She winked.
Turning to Gin, she said "Well duh. There's only so long three people can wait." She took her gift, and just like a little kid at Christmas, tore into it.

Letting her arms fall to her sides Serenity finally lets her laughter out."Alright.. you win Jade."
There was so much going on at once that it was difficult to decide who to answer first. She smiles as she turns towards Mirage. "Of course I heard you mention us first, but it's so much more fun to give you a hard time about it." She giggles and finally turns her attention to Gin who is handing out presents.
Happily she recieves the gift and begins to unwrap it, however more gracefully that Jade had. "Ooh thank you Gin! You didn't have to bring me back anything. You must have went some place really exciting this summer. Of course it was another boring summer spent with me grandmum for me."

Gin laughed slightly, her expression a bit nervous. "I didnt really know what you guys wanted, lets see... i got jade a large book on quidditch and the newest information on it, not to mention a jade quidditch sweater of her favorite team... hope it fits you. She hadn’t been so sure of Jade’s measurements, but guessed as close as she could. For you serenity, i got a really nice pink ruby earrings from France and a book on divinations. Mirage, hurry up and open yours!" she laughed, hoping her friends would like the gifts, as she spent forever trying to find the perfect ones.

Mirage blushing even more fiercely, if it's even possible, giggles at Serenity's comment. Turning to Gin she gives her a hug as well, before taking her gift. Opening it carefully, she said to Gin All the places you get to go...it's enough to make me jealous! As for Draco, no, I haven't seen him yet...I wonder what's keeping him?

As Serenity opens her gift she gasps, "Oh Gin they're beautiful! Thank you so much!" She gives her a huge hug then puts the earrings on. "I feel bad that I didn't bring anything back for you now. You know what I'll do? First trip to Hogsmeade and I'll buy you anything you like." She grins holding onto her new book.
Serenity looks over at Mirage, "Awe don't worry luv, I'm sure he will show up soon. Maybe he just can't get through this crowd of new students." She lightly pats her friends arm.

Gin shrugged. "its ok seren, you dont have to get me anything. I'm just glad you like it." Inside Mirage's box was a photo album that had only a few pictures in the front pages. "It's a kind of scrap book for your memories and pictures with us and *cough* Draco" Gin explained pointing to the pictures inside. "I put some pictures inside already so you didn't have to start all over again." Inside the box, was also diamond necklace, with a ruby heart in the middle. "To show your love for Draco," Gin teased. "and that you love him with all your 'heart'." She couldn't help but giggle at Mirage's red face. She suddenly snapped her fingers. I think I heard that Draco might be a little late in coming in, due to storms near where he lives or something.

Oh my gosh... Mirage holds up the necklace to the light. That is sooo pretty!! And the photoalbum....now I just need a muggle camera! Thanks Gin! Seeing has how she'd spent her younger years in a part-muggle household, she knew some of the things they used, though her knowledge was limited. She gives her friend another hug. I wish I had something to give you guys. Being shut up in the castle gets boring after awhile. Granted, there is alot to discover here, but still, without someone to share it with, it's just no fun. She gets a worried look on her face. Storms? Oh, I hope he'll be okay...I thank you for the news, Gin.

Gin grinned, holding up another bag. "another muggle camera at your service, don't use it up too fast though. She hugged mirage back. "You're already giving me something by being my friend, and don't worry, I'm sure Draco will be ok... especially since his darling mirage is waiting for him here." She couldn't help but tease, knowing how much they loved each other.

Serenity sighs,"Oh Mirage, you are lucky to have someone like Draco. Your love for each other is so romantic. Remember, my prediction last year? Came true didn't it? Now, if only I could make a prediction for myself."
She giggles then opens her book to look through it briefly. She looks up at Gin, Are you sure you don't want anything in return? If not, then I suppose I will make it up to you for your birthday."

Gin nodded vigorously, "OF COURSE I'm sure, silly. Besides, my birthday is coming up, so you can get me something then." She smiled as she agreed with Serenity. "Really mirage, you guys could be the cutest couple in Hogwarts if there were such a thing!" She nudged serenity. "Hey!! Don't think you can get away from being a bachelorette so soon and leave jade and me all alone!"
