The two hours passed and I reported to the slaughter arena. The slaughter event had it's own arena. It had much more money put into it for the people entertainment and for the ultimate fights. It was much bigger and fancier than any building in the town. I went into the warrior's pit, or at least they said that was what it was called. It was a very cozy place with plenty of beverages, food, TV, and video games even. I suppose these were here for people in case they died in their next fight. Someone always died in the slaughter fights. That was how it worked. I spent some time eating, drinking, and playing video games. I knew I wasn't going to lose, but one should never turn down such luxeries. I was told to go into the arena and I did so. The other warrior walked out of his pit. Before the pits closed, I spotted various bloody heads on pikes in his pit. We spent about a whole ten minutes walking to the center of the arena. We were both placed under a spell so that we couldn't attack each other yet.
The town's ruler came to a large seat visable by everyone and started saying,"Before the fight you will each be given the circumstance of the fight and the rules. We will throw a coin in the air, you will call a side, and whatever side it lands on, the person who choose that side we be allowed to choose the feild. And the rules...," he paused and smiled, "anything goes." He flipped his coin, and I called heads, but it came out tails, so the my opponent would choos the field...whatever that meant. I was prepared for anything though.

I had emerged from the forest to be greated by an army of knights. The only knight on a horse rode torwards me.
"If you wish to seek an audience with our master, you must kill every last one of us. Do you accept this challenge?" the knight on the horse asked.
I replied yes, and he blew a warhorn. and ordered his men to charge while he rode to the back of his ranks. In twenty seconds, I could tell how every one of these knights would react to certain things. I was the best analyzer in the known world. I then calculated my percents of winning based on what I would do. I formulated the best plan in thirty seconds. It guaranteed 100% victory. Now, all I had to do was wait for that one man to make his move, as I had analyzed he would.

She walks down the street and does a little bit of window shopping.

"Hmm...where's a good place to get some art supplies...Ooh! That looks like a good place!"

She quickly enters the store and buys some new brushes, paints, and a few canvases.

She blinks and looks at him.

"Umm...Art. And you are...?"

"Oh. Well, welcome to Beyard. It's a pleasure to meet you. I don't live in this city, I'm just here for a supply run."

She looks at Rhapsody, then pats her sword at her side.

"I think I can handle myself. Thanks for the warning, though. Besides, I was just on my way back home. Nice meeting you again, Prince. Later."

She smiles, then walks out of town.

Prince bid them goodbye and good day, and then continued to the inn I was staying at. There was a party there in my honor. I seemed I had killed an evil man who was gaining power slowly but surely, and the people in this inn had all suffered at his hands. We all had a good time celebrating. I then went to sleep for the first time in this new city. I wondered what my slaughter match would be like tomorrow.

Prince woke up from a good night's sleep. The manager at the inn told Prince that Prince was to report to the town's ruler's house. Prince did as he was told. Prince was greeted by the town's ruler himself. "hello. First of all I'd like like to know your name. I'm afraid I've never been here before." Prince says to the town's ruler. "my name is Eugene, and that is what I want you to call me by. Now, we have some business to conduct. You entered the slaughter tournament a little too lat, but because of your performance, we're going to let you stay. We just have to get you to make your own scenario when the coin is in your favor. Now tell me. What kind of scenario do you want?" Eugene asked.
