i had read a article semi-ercently and Bush thinks that the gas rising is a good idea because then it will get more people to buy more "energy savable" cars and vehicles, but honestly that is full of s**t.

That was what i was thinking a while back,
that they're rising the gas prices to the point to where we have to by those
Hybrids since they use little gas.

the worst part i find about teh raising of the gasoline prices? We dont need to. We are not running out of gasoline in the united states but honestly someone is making millions off of everyone else.

I know.
The oil rigs out in the gulf of mexico is gettin oil.
oil feilds across the US are gettin oil.
So why would there not be enough?

there is always an excuse:

refinery capacity

(although producers and refiners are all the same thing, through interlocking directorates)

anticipated shortfalls, trying to reserve produciton capacity

lately they are using political turmoil in Nigeria as an excuse

anything that's handy, is what it boils down to
