AtomicTaco Zarka AtomicTaco Raticate. He owned one for 5 seconds then traded it back for Butterfree.
Why not others he left/abandoned?
He used Primeape more than once, and he did promise he'd come back for it. An empty promise, but still.
He loved Butterfree enough to honor its request to go breed and have Shiny babies.
He uses Muk still. And Muk still glomps him whenever he shows up.
Pidgeot got a lot of use before he released it. As a Pidgeotto.
Haunter...He never really owned that in the first place.
Kingler...Eh. He hates that one too. Runner up is Kingler, by far.
Very observant. None of that means that he 'hated them'. It's just that he didn't need them for any of the battles he was currently facing. Just because he doesn't use them often does not mean that he hates them. In all honesty...I don't think that Ash hates any of his Pokemon. He's too much of a giddy/happy-go-lucky kid to be capable of hating any of his partners.
If anyone says that he hated Butterfree...guess again! He let Butterfree go to mate...which you mentioned. Apparently, Butterfree was said to have died in the original version of the episode in which it was released...but that is just a rumor that I have recently heard. In no way is that a fact...but I'm just bringing up a small tidbit to help defend my opinion.

What about the Beedrill he captured in the bugcontest? It was never seen again after that. Kingler... would be nexted to.

Zarka coldbloodedmonk Monster of Cerulean City Considering he always leaves the others behind eventually, I'd say Pikachu. wouldn't that make pikachu his most favorite, or am i confused? I'm confused too now... eek arrow question me too arrow question

Ash's Charizard comes back, and it showed his Squirtle too (with the black sunglasses). I'm really hoping he gets Squirtle back. Though I could care less about his stupid Charizard.Yes, I think Squirtle might actually evolve soon. But Charizard... Come on. He basicly abandoned it. He left it to train, and only calls for it when he needs to win a battle. God, I thought Ash thought it was wrong to use pokemon as tools.

Donphan--Holy crap! A pokemon on Ash's team that isn't one use or freaking overpowered! Donphan is perfect. It loses, and sometimes it wins. Hooray.
