Xero was found with a small kitten the day he was discovered in front of Balamb Garden. The kitten turned out to be a black leopard with white tipped ears and tail.his tail is long and fluffy as are his feet and the backs of his legs.Greyish spots are scattered across his black body. The cat became very friendly towards people as it grew in Garden.the big cat took to commands well and responded well in public as well as in combat.the cat usually looked calm and reflective, although prone to making facial gestures to people as though it understood what they were saying, the occasional huff or sudden look of wonder or shock often let people know the cat felt and understood the majority of what was going on around it.
As for Xero,he has dreams of a vast ocean with lush green jungles with bright green trees around him.He hopes of one day finding his lost family so he can ask why they left him alone so young.Who was the big cat left to protect him?He aspiried to be a SeeD to find out easier.

Childhood: “Milena,” her father, Gordan, pleaded with her, tossing the grade report on the table, “you are getting all the best grades. Only one is less than perfect! Just imagine how far you could go if you actually applied yourself?”
“Yeah, Miles,” her brother sneered at her, tearing up his nametag with the bleak, blocky letters reading “Dominik” as he stretched out over the arms of the chair. “Why don’t you outshine the whole school!”
“That’s enough,” their mother shushed him firmly and returned her gentle attention to the humble figure of her daughter. “We know that you’re doing exceptionally, but your instructors tell us that you aren’t paying attention in class and often finish your homework just before class begins. If you could re-prioritize yourself…” The attentive but empty stare she got from Milena was enough to say that there was no ambition in her to do anything of the sort.
“Ania, dear,” Gordan rested an assuring hand on his wife’s shoulder. “Let me.” His wife nodded and swayed delicately to where Dominik was seated. With a gentle tap on his head, he sighed and immediately complained.
“But, Mom, this is the good part…”
“I know, and it’s none of your business or mine. Come on. Let’s make dessert.” When he stayed in his seat and frowned, dropping bits of paper on the floor, she resorted to sheer bribery. “I’ll let you eat some of the batter.”
“Alright!” He jumped to his feet and darted into the kitchen while Ania chuckled in his wake. Letting the smile fade, she glanced carefully back to daughter and son. She took a deep breath and sighed, but followed Dominik into the kitchen.
“There. We’re alone now.” Gordan took a seat and brushed the papers to the side. “Honey, you must know that this is more than about just grades.”
“…I understand,” Milena confessed. She had figured out her parents’ motives long ago. The only trouble was that she didn’t feel the same way as they did. Dominik had all the passion and fury that she would ever need to draw on. And she, as his sister, tempered him with her thorough tolerance. They made a good team, and to make her more aggressive would be to ruin the pair.
“We only want the best for you. See, your mother and I aren’t going to live forever. And we all know that your brother won’t stick around.” He rolled his eyes and gestured roughly toward the kitchen. “Milena, we just want to know that you will be able to take care of yourself when we’re gone. Not just financially,” he cut her off as she began to defend herself, “but as a person. You are much too easily led astray and won’t stand your ground even if you’re right. This just won’t do, for you or us.”
“I know,” she nodded and looked down. She couldn’t help but feel small with her muscular father towering next to her and her slender hands looking even more insignificant as they lay limply on her lap. “I just don’t think I can—”
“That’s your trouble,” her interrupted, “you don’t ever think you can! Here, let’s go for a walk. I want to show you something.”
The journey up the hill behind their house was short and silent, although the atmosphere was all seriousness on her father’s end. He held his hand out for her to help her up the hill, which she politely accepted, although she really didn’t need to. It was a father’s nature to be overprotective of his daughter and to deny him that was unkind to him. So she smiled and thanked him when she reached the top, which made him only slightly happier.
“See that?” He pointed out to the horizon with dotted lights across, the density of light being more the closer the people were to a city. Some looked like stars lodged in the land, they were so bright and big. “That world is filled with people who have wants and desires and even though they may be your friends, they will always try to get what they want first and foremost. Regardless of what it does to you,” he said solemnly. “Do you understand?”
Her expression first went from awe and appreciation to confusion and worry. Her eyebrows were barely lifted and her gaze was vacantly locked on the world before her. She couldn’t even bring herself to believe her father. If what he said was true, she could trust no one. Not even her family.
“Yes, Father.” She did understand what he meant. But in no way did she believe it. She couldn’t. Instead of bringing her to be braver, the very thought filled her with paranoid dread. Even if the world was populated by only the selfish, greedy, and backstabbing, then she would not be a part of it. How She Got Involved With Balamb Garden:I'll add this once I get it typed out...

Alexandrov Konstantin DragovicHumble BeginningsTo understand Alexei, it's probably best to start with understanding Crescent, the place where he was born and raised. It lies nestled near the coast on the eponymous crescent-shaped archipelago north of Dollet, on the continent of Galbadia. It is effectively cut off from most of civilization, and only in the last twenty years has it seen the growth in terms of technology that the rest of the world has enjoyed for decades. It is still mostly rural, but they now have telephones and automobiles.
The people of Crescent developed quite differently from the other humans in the world, having been isolated for so long. They have their own language and a different alphabet that seems to have derived from the same source as English, but is far enough removed that Crescent is unreadable, even phonetically, to those who don't know the alphabet. Last names are given by adding the suffix "-vic" or "-vich" to the father's first name. Thus, Alexei's father Drago gives him the last name Dragovic, while his father's name is Drago Dmitrivic, after Alexei's grandfather Dmitri.
Alexei was born here 21 years ago in winter, December 6th. He grew up learning to survive in the forests that surrounded his hometown, learning to be strong and fast and skillful. His father taught him woodsmanship and his grandfather taught him to fight...
Age 16, Alexei lies curled up in pain on the snow-covered ground at his grandfather's feet. He groans as he holds his stomach and tries to roll to his knees. <<"Again! Come on, my boy! We must build your strength!">> the old man bellows.
<<"Yes, grandfather...">> the boy mutters as he gets painfully up to his feet once more. He shakes his head and his hands to put the feeling back into them. When he practiced Systema with his grandfather, he sometimes went numb with the pain. His joints ached from being twisted and smacked by his grandfather's skilled and powerful hands.
Age 18, Alexei lies perfectly still, covered in snow and wearing a white parka. His eye sits against the scope of a rifle, and he waits for his prey to come into view. <<"Wait for him, Alexei ... patience ...">> a voice comes from behind him, as a snowbank shifts to reveal a pair of eyes. <<"Yes, father...">> Alexei mutters, as the deer trots into the scope. He shuts one eye and focuses on the image in the magnified glass. At the last moment, he opens the eye to give himself depth of field, and pulls the trigger.

A young cloaked figure hunches over her coffee in a dim pub. Her tears silently falling down her cheek and into the cup. The rest of the customers were huddled around the TV, hanging off every word that came through the old speaker.
"In other news an update on the Celestia bombings. Still no survivors have been found and it is confirmed that the capital has been demolished. Here are some pictures and videos taken at the scene..."
"The surrounding countries are now digging through the debris of the small country, and it is speculated that the bombings were caused by a radical group resided in the capital. Whereabouts of the terrorists are not known and it is thought that they died as well in the inferno."
"Some theories as to why the small neutral country was attacked center around their science and technology campaigns. However none of these have been confirmed."
"We will have more on the subject shortly."
"Well it must be a conspiracy! Why else would someone go through the trouble of practically flattening what was it? 70%, of their country?" One customer said.
"Well I just think it's horrible that such a peacful people were targeted. I can't imagine they had such enemies." One retorted.
Meanwhile the young girl left with nothing but her grievances. She feared that if she exposed herself now, then questions would be asked. So she decided to try and rough it on her own. Perhaps find a new life, one without stupid rules and death. She heard tales of military schools where one would train until they could graduate and become a sort of missionary. She had some skills, and it was as good a deal as any other. The hard part was getting there. The closest one was Balamb, and she didn't have any idea as to how long it'd take her to get there.

How It All Started
"Balamb Garden?" I asked. "YEAH! ISN'T THAT TOTALLY COOL!?" my childhood friend Albel grinned. I was completely confused. I've never in my life heard about Balamb Garden. The tiny forest where I grew up in was completely isolated from the rest of the world. I looked at my friend's uniform. It was really nice and detailed. "So...you're a SeeD?" His grin grew wider "You BET I am! Join with me so we can be together again!" I looked at him...not knowing what kind of situation I was putting myself into. "Promise?" He asked again. "Promise!"
I never saw that grin afterward. It took me a long time trying to find my way out to the rest of the world. People stared at me as if I was a complete alien. Could it be my eyes? Who knows...
All I knew...was that I needed to find Balamb Garden, and find my friend...my only family left...to become stronger, so one day I can go back and protect my forest.
The first city I had arrived to was Balamb. Such a nice city...well as long as I heard, people there didn't call this place a city...they thought it was just a village. Either way, it was nice because it had a HUMONGOUS land of water everybody else called "Ocean" I have never seen such a BIG piece of water. The most I have seen was Theressa's pond and nothing more. The people there were really relaxed. I saw one or two people that were dressed in a fancy uniform that looked a bit alike Albel's but wasn't quite the same. They carried big metal cylinders that made the sound "BAM!" when they pushed a button.
I was ashamed of my ignorance for I didn't know anything about this world. All I knew was that everyone saw me and whispered "Stranger." or "She isn't from around here." or "She looks lost."
But there was a question that still rested within me. "Where is Balamb Garden?"

A small girl stands still in her room. In the corner is her round bed, made of a pile of pillows and blankets, surrounded by a curtain. Tea sets and stuffed animals make up the rest of the space.
"Mooooom, I hate the formal courts. Why do I have to go?" The young girl of just 7 years said.
"Because, honey, our family must set an example for the lower and upper courts now. Remember father was elected prsident. We must show that our family has respect for the old ways." the mother said while dressing her daughter.
"But you always said that the old ways were rubbish!" she protested.
"Yes, yes I did." the woman replies, grinning. "But I'm afraid that we'll have to play dress up for a few months. Remember what you say?"
"Mmmmhmm! I give a short curtsey, because I'm a pretty princess! And then I say, 'It is a honor to be here. Thank you for inviting me.' Then I go with you and sit off to the side and be quiet like a mouse."
"Good girl. I know that your birthday always comes in the middle of the formal courts, but I promise we'll do something exciting for your birthday afterwards!" The mother said grinning.
Note: In Lee's country, the legislative is split into 'lower' courts and 'upper' courts. (like how america has the House and Senate) Then they have a High Court that is the president. The formal courts are the first three months of every year. Each person in the lower and upper courts is formally announced and takes his/her seat. It is the single most cultural event in her country. Attire is traditional down to how the thread is spun. And the guests are expected to respect their gender roles. (Women elected into the courts are exempt)

(first RP ever. And I mean EVER, so bear with me and don't judge unless it's good)
Matthias walked spryly along the pathway, past a lit sign reading "DORMITORY". He'd walked this same route a thousand times before, but something was different this time. He felt almost.. eager about something, but he couldn't put his finger on it. He had done well in the class he was returning from, true enough. It was a practice session in the field against a few weak monsters, nothing major. Nevertheless, his hits were solid and his instructor even complimented him once on his form. But was that really why he was so happy? He pushed his thoughts aside for a moment while he swiped his student pass card through the lock to his room and waited for the light to turn green, indicating he could enter. As the door slid open, his thoughts lingered on these dulcet feelings once again. He first removed the short sword and sheath that were situated horizontally along the small of his back, followed by a short sword and sheath of the same model that was aligned vertically with his right shoulder blade, and placed them up against his bed side table. He looked across the room to his room-mates bed, which was tidy and well- kept, as always. "What a neat-freak.." he thought to himself. Then he looked down at his own bed, which resembled more of a battle ground at this point, and grumbled to himself. He tossed aside an issue of "Timber Maniacs" and plopped down on the bed, mussing up the sheets even more. He planned on doing some thinking to himself, but no sooner had he sat down than came a gentle knock on the door. He heard a soft, yet firm female voice calling from the other side, "Matthias Writhe?" She must have been young, her voice reflected that much. He sighed, then replied, "yes?" He then recalled hearing that voice somewhere before... "May I come in?" the voice said calmly. He taunted "I don't know, do you have a keycard?" The door slid open to reveal the mystery woman, no older than 25, wearing an instructors uniform that clung tightly to what little frame she had. "As a matter of fact, I do." It was instructor Crowe, whom he had as a Language II teacher a few years ago. He doubted she remembered him. He snapped off the bed and onto his feet. "I'm sorry ma'am. I didn't realiz-" She interrupted, "It's fine" a grin made an appearance on her face. "I have good news. It looks like your request to transfer to Balamb Garden was just approved. Pack your things" Those words caught him off guard. Yes he had requested for a transfer, but he didn't imagine it would be so soon... "Your transport leaves tomorrow at 0800. Be there." He snapped out of his state of shock long enough to utter a "Yes ma'am", then before he knew it, the door slid shut and she was gone. He laid back down on his bed and stared at the ceiling... "Balamb..." is all that came out of his mouth, but in his mind raged all the emotions he had ever felt at Trabia Garden. Memories of the past 11 years came flooding through him all at once. He regained his composure, and stood up. He was thankful he didn't own many things, which he realized as he began cramming what little he had into a gray backpack. He paused, then said out loud, "Balamb Garden" still trying to wrap his head around it. "Heh.. I doubt they're ready for me" he said with an almost evil smirk, and continued packing.
(holy crap that was lengthy O.o")
