"That one knows too much" Ami said after hearing laughter from the bottom of the stairs. Again a thousand pardons for what Mira did." Ami siad to Meghan. "Anyways, so how is Japan so far?" Ami said after taking a bite of pizza. The cheesy strings broke and hung out of her mouth and she used her fingers and ate them.

"It's okay...just make sure she doesn't do that again," Meghan said in an almost scolding voice. "It's as much as I can expect, I guess," she started, taking a lazy bite of her own pizza. "I haven't gone to a first day of school yet, so I may be proven wrong, but I doubt there will be much difference from an American school, right?"

"Well there are no Janitor's students clean their rooms, um, other then that no, not really school is school world-wide I guess....." Ami said thinking about school "I don't really attend much, No parent's are equivelent to no enforcers, I can just sneak past the truency officers when I'm skipping...." She finished looking up at the celing. Ami ripped up the crust and ate the peices of it slowly. " but then again, school may become an everyday thing" Ami said she then muttered "all those damn child care services everywhere make it really had to skip"

Meghan nodded her head. "I know about the clean up and everything," she said rather simply. "As for me, I go everyday; Kaze goes to the same school, so I can't just go and skip it; besies, it's because of school that I'm here, so if I miss I'm going back home," she sighed, dropping the small piece of crust that remained from her own pizza. "It makes having fun and seeing Japan a lot harder." She paused for a moment before looking at Ami. "Do we have those few day trips to different parts of Japan?" she asked, tilting her head slightly.

"yeah, but only sometimes. What school are you joining? or are in?" she asked shifting herself into a more comfortable position, Mira sitting on her head. She thought of something and smiled to herself. "you know, If you REALLY wanted to skip school I could help you in that department" She said grinning "With the cards, almost anything is possible, right Mira?" Ami said looking up at her gaurdian Smiling.

Meghan shrugged. "I'm...not quite positive what the school's name is," she admited, although she didn't looked the least bit ashamed. She shook her head, though, at Ami's suggestion. "I'd rather not skip. I have to know everything, and they randomly test me from time to time to make sure I'm keeping up with studies. I mean, if I fail a test, I have one chance to retake it, or they take me off and send me back home," she sighed, running a hand through her hair.

"ugh, just thinking of all those test makes me shudder" Ami said actually shivering. "So, do you hvae all of you cards yet?" Ami asked looking at Meghan then at her bag. "being in a new place can be fun but I get the feeling you'd rather be at home, if not for your cards...." Ami said hopefully analysing her new....mutal friend.

Meghan shook her head, looking at her bag for a moment then arching an eyebrow at Ami. "No, I have all my cards," she said in a somewhat skeptical voice, "Weither I'm missing one or two I'll never know..." She didn't push any farther with words, though, figuring she was just imagining things; she wasn't about to tell Ami, the girl who she felt like ripping apart earlier that day, why she was really in Japan. She knew, too, that if she had told Ami the truth, she'd be at her throat in a second, most likely.
[she's evil, right? :hasn't made 100% sure:]

"If you've cought all your cards you'd know" Ami said she remembered the day she got all her cards. Judgement. Mira was an interesting person to battle buuut in the end Ami got her so it was no big deal. Before then Ami hadn't known Mira. "I just can't belive there are several decks of cards out there. All different too. Nightmare cards, Dark, Light, Clow, Sakura. shesh someone has to keep track of these" Ami said flopping back and looking at her book of cards. Her book was Purple and Dark blue. She remembered when It was White and Lavender.Ah the days.

Meghan, too, looked at Ami's book for a moment before glancing at the bird in the cage before returning her gaze onto Ami. "I see..." she said softly; she'd gone through it too, but why should she tell her? She sighed as she pulled the chair from under her desk and plopped down in it, resting her head against the back of the chair. "There may be a lot of cards, because of how many decks there are, but they're all the same, so it doesn't really matter," she said bluntly.

Ami yawned and looked over at the clock perched at Meghans Nightstand. It read 10:30. "Who knew it got late" Ami said she pulled out the Dark create and drew a small matress with sheets. When the item appered in the room Ami slowly slid off Meghans bed and set her stuff next to her make-shift bed. Ami put the card Away slowly and lazily. "Well I'm tired so I'm going to doze off, thank you for providing the space" Ami said again bowing in appreciation. Mira Crawled out of Ami's bag and silently laid her small self on the pillow next to Ami. In a matter of Minutes Ami was sleeping soundly One thought in her mind "I trust her".

Meghan looked down at the sleeping Ami, her face shadowed against the lamp that was turned on above her bed. She seemed to be smirking, the only expression on her face that seemed to be readable, before she stepped out of her room, shutting the door behind her. Phoenix, who had flown out of his cage and was now perched on her shoulder, just store ahead, cranning his head every now and then, his emotionless, golden eyes eerie in appearance.
Making it down the stairs, she walked out the door before heading to the curb, the rain still pouring down, before sitting. She pulled her legs to her chest before she started talking with Phoenix, their converstaion inaudable to those other than them. Koichi, though, stood in his room, his fingers pulling aside a few curtains as he peered down. He sighed, making his way out of his room before pulling a blanket from the closet and walking into Meghan's room; sure enough, there on the floor, seemed to be her friend. Quietly, he walked over, unfolding the blanket, and laying it softly over her before he started back out the door.
[if you have them wake up, just say meghan was in her bed xD]

Light was streaming through the windows in Meghans room. Ami rolled over to find herself entangled in a blanket....wait...a blanket? 'What the, when did this appear here?' she thought to herself. Ami looked up at the bed that was to her right, Meghan was snozing peacefully. Ami sat up and looked down at the sleeping form of Mira. Ami simply poked Mira and the fairy was awake and on Ami's shoulder.
Ami decided she was hungry and from Memory she silently walked down to the kitchen. "hey Mira you should probably hide yourself...." Ami whispered to her gaurdian seconds after she necklace that was usually just a chain now had a charm in the shape of a fairy on it. She looked around not wanting to intrude on the household's food supply. Ami walked back upstairs to the room, she quietly disabled the bed she had created and picked up her bookbag that contained her book of cards. All her energy was back. She looked for a spare sheet of paper, and found one. She also found a pen, she wrote a note to Meghan and snuck back downstairs. She walked a block away from the house and equipped the Fly to herself.
The Note said:
Meghan,
thank you for the food clothes and the place to stay.
See you around.

Meghan pushed herself up off her bed, feeling something whispering gently into her ear. She rubbed at her sleep laiden eye with a nuckle, to see Phoenix in his extended human forum, looking down at her. "The burden has left," he stated boredly, picking up the note and holding it a good legnth away so Meghan could read. She let her eyes scan through, before yawning to herself, pushing her covers off and starting towards the closet. Within a moment or two, her PJ's lay scattered on the floor, and she stood in a school uniform before making her way downstairs; day one of school, and she could tell she'd hate it.

Sighing, Meghan came back into the house; no one was home, thankfully, as Phoenix literally walked through the door with her in human form. "I swear, most people today or so... agrivating," she said as she ran a frustrated hand through her hair before it fell back in an arched angle. Phoenix chuckled softly -somewhere deep in his throat- as he shut the door behind the two of them and followed the girl over to the black couch in the living room. She flopped down, leaning her head back as she just store up at the ceiling. "Well, maybe if you make friends with them it'll be easier to lure them into a trap to get them," Phoenix stated as he sat down next to her; he store at the open bay window to their right, watching a few kids running by on bikes or whatever.
