1. Well I actually like that they are energetic.
2. I also like that they are happy to see you when you get home.
3. I like their loyalty.
4. I like the fact thery are forgiving, so if you accidently drop something on them or step on their tail, they'll still love you 5 seconds later.
5. I like how they get snuggly when they are sleepy and you can hold them in your lap (well at least with my dog because she's smaal ennough to fit inyour lap.)
6. I like how they gaurd their owners and protect them from potentail threats, though overprotective doga can be a problem.
7. I find most dogs to be adorable, even sometimes in a goofy type of way.
8.The ways they roll on their back so you can pet their stomach is so cute.
9. They get excited over little things like a bottle cap (which my dog likes to toss in the air and then pounce on)
10. The puppy dog look. How can you resist?
well yes..those are things I love about dog, though I have to agree with some of the wonderful things you listed about cats.

Birds are pretty cool, my cousin has a cokateil (sp?) named Zachary. He's really funny.

Actaually I meant a cakatoo (has no idea how to spell this one either) I get the two mixed up, though they are very differnet birds.

We have bunnies in our yard... somewhere. They show up every now and then.
Apparently lizards are like Florida's bunnies... or... something.
