Ah well, Core's still fun to play no matter their motives. domokun
And they don't seem to be doing too well when it comes to breaking the wills of the Magi. I mean, as far as I can tell, all the Shadow Magi just basically do whatever they want.

I played a Paradwyn deck for a little while. They were alright, but Dreamwarp really struck me as a weird mechanic. I don't think I figured out how to use it properly.

well, it seems UNDERNEATH is in the lead! Just as I would want it.
I love using underneath. Not only for the fact that everything looks so cool, but also for the fact that, the creatures and spells of the region make a perfect creature defensive, spell offensive deck. Which is a very deadly combo is used correctly.

Glad to see another 'Neath player joining the ranks, but I'll be honest. I'm more excited to see the elusive Burn-spell user join. It'll stir up some more controversy!
Dragoon something, or whatever. wink

Zacharra Swordoath Omega I played a aradwyn deck for a little while. They were alright, but Dreamwarp really struck me as a weird mechanic. I don't think I figured out how to use it properly. I just pretend it's not there... unless I feel like reducing the starting energy. I've seen some scary Dreamwarp decks. They're the ones that give me the most trouble, actually. A properly set up Ookami is a b***h to break through. ESPECIALLY in Restricted.

I have a couple of Ookami's, but that play-style never really appealed to me...

I think the unerversial magi and cretures have a huge advantage. Monarch Hyren, Tony Jones, The dude with the R that gains power from his own demise. Not to mention their artifacts like the Robe fo Ages and Ancesterial Flute.
All Hail the Monarch Hyren

If talking sheer power, Core and Arderial are the best regions, by far.
Each region is good at something, however.
Core and Orothe are good at stealing creatures. Cald and d'Resh are good at burning creatures and magi. Bograth and Weave are good with weenie swarming. Naroom and Paradwyn are good at energy manipulation. Underneath and Arderial are good at controling the board. Nar and Kybar's Teeth are good with big creatures.
