You can be sure if I have enough money to get a new kilt, I totally will!
I'll be damned if I'll do like most guys there and get the kilt adornments but wear them over a "Catholic Schoolgirl" skirt...wrong freakin' material and the zipper would be annoying...Actually I think I'll wear the kilt under my robes...that'd mean I'd use a lot of the gold makeup to cover exposed skin... eek oh ...wait...that would suck...but then again it would be an interesting conversation starter!

That part of the movie scared the bejeezus out of me. And then I had to drive home alone and in the dark. Alone. With my trippy overactive imagination going 'Hey, I just heard something from the back seat! Is that person on the side of the road watching you? Heh, I like to laugh at the guys in the skirty kilts. Nine yards of tartan, or a Utilikilt. That's all there is to it; there should be no other options for Faire. Unless you're part of a fancy bagpipe troupe, or something....

That's exactly it! 9 yards of Tartan!!!!! That was my kilt whee
unfortunately my sewing skills are worse than a monkey's, so repairing the 4 yard long hole in it is not gonna happen (Straight down the middle of the fabric, lengthwise...)
It took forever for me to learn to fold the damn thing.
