Revan64 Shigure-San so will there be more than four dvds of Fruits Basket? I believe that's the plan. Stupid people couldn't get it right the first time... stare Haha

Revan64 I believe it''s supposed to be 18 books. Tokyo pop only has 16 currently on the way at the moment though. Oh ok thank you Revan! blaugh

Keela The Mana Spirit Revan64 I believe it''s supposed to be 18 books. Tokyo pop only has 16 currently on the way at the moment though. Oh ok thank you Revan! blaugh I think there are 22 books. They only have covers for 18 of them.

how can they continue creating the tv series if what happened at the end of the 1 season is different than the manga itself??

The oldest one has lived until so far is 35 and that was Akira, Akito's father. It seems the Gods are not expected to actually live past twenty. Shigure commented about it when Miichan said how young the head of the house was but was confused when he said "Young? But he's got to be around 20 now." So it seems many don't even make it past their teens.

Yuki159 Koga_lover Why is the manga longer than the anime dvd Wrong sorry. The manga is longer than the anime because at the time they only had 8 volumes to work with. It was never meant to be anything special, just someting to keep people occupied while Takaya recovered so they made it with just the 8 avaliable to them.

Shigure-San so will there be more than four dvds of Fruits Basket? No, the first series is the only one that will be made. Takaya and the director don't want to bother with another series. There's also the problem with Akito being male in the anime and those who have read the manga know how heavily based the plot is on this fact. The manga was from the begining only going to be the one to end it. The anime was used to get others interested in the manga, hance why they added such an open ending to the final episode.
