I love writing poetry, but I'd never post any of mine. I don't follow any poetry rules. ninja

Evil Bianca Here's a short poem that I wrote yesterday.
[ Distorted ]
Memories engulfed me today I tried to hold them at bay They pushed and shoved their way What ever I do or say I can't make them go away
Wow you're good a rhyming--My teacher would hate you for that. She hates poetry that rhymes. XP

This is a poem i wrote a few years ago and thought it would be cute to put in i have other poems i wrote but i feel are a little too deep to put in here.
Where I belong
Where has this love brought me it's so smooth and calm? It has brought to this heart where i see it filling the empty space to which it once ached. This place looks like a place to where many of years of happiness can grow and be cherished. This is the place of a pure princesses dream can be fullfilled. I know now why i was brought here i was blown by warm soft winds of love right to my lover's heart where i belong.

Fireflies in the Garden by: Robert Frost
Here come real stars to fill the upper skies, And here on earth come emulating flies, That though they never equal stars in size, (And they were never really stars at heart) Achieve at times a very star-like start. Only, of course, they can't sustain the part.

I wrote this poem some time ago. I was really depressed and torn up over a relationship that ended, so this is the end result.
Four Little Words
You left me standing in the rain. You left me for that girl. I watched as you two walked away. You looked back and you saw betrayal in my eyes. I walked home and walked into my Dads room. I pulled open a drawer and grabbed something. The next day, I met you at work. It was late and it was still raining. You looked down at my hand and saw it. The pistol. I put it to my head. I watched as you ran toward me. You were 100 feet from me when I pulled the trigger. As I fell, you caught me. Your tears fell on me as if it would heal my wounds. "Please, Julia, don't die," I heard you whisper. As your tears fell upon me, you knew it would not heal my wounds. You would never be able to heal my wounds again. I looked up at you and with my last breath, I whispered four little words. "I love you, Eric." I died in his arms, blood all over the place. And from then on, the four little words: "I love you, Eric", stood out in his mind.

The Power of Words ~By Swan
It seems funny that small words whispered in the night can bring out the heart; the soul of a human being.
That the correct words, turned rough from usage can sing the most beautiful song, as song filled with so much chance as the first flower sprung up again in the new spring.
We as people, tend to waste out words on petty insults… what difference, do you think one would make if a tale was spun as joyful as a young child but as wise as an old man.
Do you think those words, dampened by fresh ink can weave a story…
So sad, yet so beautiful that all can understand?

Here is a poem I just wrote.
Stay With Me
I asked you to stay, But you turned around, And walked away. You left me alone, To deal with the pain. The pain was hard to endure. But I never really endure the pain. I let it take over. It took over my weak, innocent soul. When I asked you to stay, You looked at me and laughed. "Silly Girl, why would I stay with you?" Your laugh was cold and heartless. It felt like an ice icicle going through, My weak vulnerable heart. I asked you to stay one last time, But the look in your eyes was enough. I dropped to the floor crying, As my soul was engulfed in pain. My heart felt like it was ripped out. But no matter what, I still love you.
