Well, I can't really say. They both have superiority over the other in some areas.

GC:
-Better graphics
-Faster loading times
-Better sound
-Tighter controls

PS2:
-Separate Ways
-Bowgun
-P.R.L. 412
-New outfits for Leon and Ashley (which makes her invincible! biggrin )

As you can see, the Gamecube excels in the Audio/Visual and control department, while the PS2 claims the content castle. ;D Like I said, I can't really choose. I own both as well. biggrin
Also for the GC during Cut-scenes Leon is shown with whatever costume he is wearing, as do the other characters. But for PS2 he is always shown with his regular costume.

True.. but it would look kinda' stupid if he was single handedly wielding the infinite launcher, or mine thrower. Not to mention the P.R.L. 412.

PS2 let's you play "seperate ways" Ada's story, it also has Merchanaries, and the grapics aren't bad, I don't see much differance between GC and PS2

I played through RE4 with a GC that ended up crapping out on me around the Mendez barn fight... I had to get a new one to finish the game...-_-*

But I honestly would have to say for replay value, PS2 is better. While the GC holds the gold for graphics. [I'm sure this has all been stated already, but hey. It's my turn! X3]

Either version's good. Though Seperate Ways...there were some pretty interesting scenese. Like seeing Leon chased around by the village. ...and the jacket theiving Ganado. Heh. X3
